[name]Olivia[/name]… my all time love affair name from the time I was 12. But then I grew up and realized that I could never name my baby girl a top 5 name that is heard truly everywhere! But my favorite part about the name was the use of the letter V and the adorable nicknames [name]Liv[/name] and Livi. If I can find a similar name that accomplishes those nicknames I’d be in heaven!
[name]How[/name] about just [name]Livia[/name] or [name]Livana[/name]? [name]Liv[/name] is a super cute nn.
[name]Just[/name] to comment on pp -
[name]Livana[/name] is gorgeous, and the connection to the moon is very meaningful to me. [name]Liv[/name] is a family name too so I’ve toyed with this one off and on. [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Livana[/name] is a little far flung to me though.
[name]Livia[/name] I like but I just imagine a life of mishearing as [name]Olivia[/name].
I do like [name]Liv[/name] on its own. It has a lot of history and meaning. However I think everyone would assume she’s an [name]Olivia[/name].
[name]Libby[/name] works from [name]Elizabeth[/name], so [name]Livvy[/name] might not be such a stretch with a V middle name…or you could go with Elisavetta or something if you’re bold. [name]Elizabeth[/name] is a good fit with sister [name]Violet[/name].
[name]Liv[/name] rhymes with [name]Viv[/name] so that might work by rhyming. [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Vivian[/name] could totally be [name]Liv[/name] to me.
[name]Genevieve[/name] could work as [name]Viv[/name] too. [name]Laura[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] nn [name]Liv[/name] or something. [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name].
I’ve also toyed with [name]Lily[/name] with a V middle called [name]Liv[/name]. [name]Lily[/name] [name]Verena[/name] is one I like a lot, also [name]Lily[/name] [name]Vera[/name]. But I’m more flexible with nicknaming than many are. [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] is nice to me, although I know most people want to avoid flower sets : D.
[name]Hope[/name] this helps! If you like any I’ve mentioned feel free to use, I am not possessive of my combos : D.
Oh, I’ll also add I love [name]Oliva[/name], but that seems destined for a life of confusion with [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name].
I also really like [name]Olivet[/name], [name]Olivette[/name], and [name]Olivetta[/name], but especially [name]Olivet[/name] is exactly the same letters as [name]Violet[/name], and even [name]Olivette[/name] seems kind of close. [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Olivetta[/name] might be more passable, but it’s still pretty close and a weird combo of familiar and exotic. But I thought I’d mention it.
[name]Oliva[/name]/[name]Olivet[/name]/[name]Olivette[/name]/[name]Olivetta[/name] might be additional middle options to help you get to [name]Liv[/name], especially with an L first name.
Ohh I could just about die for [name]Liv[/name] as well, but seeing as I am [name]Viv[/name], i just couldn’t do that to a future daughter!
I think I have seen this used as a nickname for Lively, but it’s a very out there name. [name]Olive[/name] would be another option, and [name]Violet[/name] & [name]Olive[/name] go stunningly together!
Hmmm, weird thought, but would you ever consider nicknaming [name]Violet[/name], [name]Liv[/name]? All the letters are in there…
xo [name]Viv[/name]
Maybe:
[name]Lavinia[/name]
[name]Olive[/name]
[name]Oliviane[/name] / [name]Olivianne[/name]
[name]Lovisa[/name]
Livna / Livnat (Hebrew “white”)
