Help finding perfect girls name

Hello, this is my first post on here, such great site and everyone seems helpfully here!

Looking for help to find perfect girl’s name! I would like quite a long name, 2/3 syllables, to go with a short surname

I’d like quite a pretty, feminine name that can be shortened to something cute. Eg, [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] to [name_f]Dotty[/name_f]/[name_f]Dolly[/name_f] or [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] to [name_f]Lulu[/name_f].

I have a son called [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and I quite like H names to go with his. I love [name_u]Harper[/name_u] but everyone seems to dislike this due to the beckham connection.

I like old fashioned names or names from books/ history etc but nothing too crazy!

Please help! Many thanks in advance! Xx

Hmm… I think for you I like:
Scarlett “Etta”
Genevieve “Evie”
Isadora “Izzy”
Arabella “Belle”
Adelaide/Adeline “Addie”
Penelope “Penny”

As far as H names go:
Hadley (I’m thinking Hadley Hemingway)
Hattie
Heidi
Hilary
Hollis

I think all of these names go with Harrison quite well!

The first name that came to mind was [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] - begins with H, pretty, feminine, long, old-fashioned, can be shortened to something cute ([name_f]Etta[/name_f]/[name_f]Hetty[/name_f]/[name_f]Hattie[/name_f])

Other H names - [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], [name_u]Hillary[/name_u], [name_f]Holiday[/name_f], [name_f]Honora[/name_f], [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]

More options - [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f], [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Theadora[/name_f], [name_f]Frederica[/name_f]

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Josie[/name_u] was my first thought.

There’s also [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] nn [name_f]Prisca[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] nn [name_f]Cindy[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]

Sorry for any repeats here! With [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], how about:

[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]/[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]/[name_f]Lulu[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Millie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]/[name_f]Vivi[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]/[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
[name_f]Leticia[/name_f]/[name_f]Lettie[/name_f]

I love the name [name_u]Harper[/name_u] too! One thought I had with this name is that people might call her Harpy.

I’m going to second [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]. I love the nickname options, as well as the full name.

other thoughts:

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] – [name_u]Clem[/name_u], [name_u]Clemmie[/name_u], but much better: [name_f]Tina[/name_f], [name_f]Mina[/name_f], [name_f]Em[/name_f], [name_f]Emy[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] – [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Genie[/name_f], [name_u]Angel[/name_u], [name_f]Lina[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] – [name_f]Minty[/name_f], [name_f]Minta[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] – [name_f]Delia[/name_f], [name_f]Cori[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Marietta[/name_f] – [name_f]Mari[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/la – [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], or [name_u]Isa[/name_u]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] – [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], [name_f]Charlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] – [name_f]Cora[/name_f]

lol, exactly, the nicknames are what totally make [name_u]Harper[/name_u] unusable to me.
You go between a ‘ravenous, filthy monster’ and ‘one who dwells on something tediously’
I do think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] is pretty though.

[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] {and} [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]/[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]/[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], nn: [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]

Thanks all!

Some fab suggestions, I really like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], been thinking a lot about that today. [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] and piper are pretty too.

[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] is lovely and fits [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] nicely tho I struggle with a nickname.

I saw on another thread [name_f]Evalena[/name_f] which I really like and could nn to [name_f]Evie[/name_f], super cute!

Incidentally, how do you pronounce [name_f]Noa[/name_f]? Is it the same as [name_u]Noah[/name_u]? I think it looks so pretty but might be confusing as is quite a popular boys name.
