My wife and I are expecting our second daughter middle of march 23’. We have a lovely LONG last name thanks to me - Christensen. We have a short’ish list of names we like but still haven’t landed on one. We like names that help with the en of Christensen (e.g Quinn Christensen. We love the name Quinn as it’s not common.
Others include: Isla, Vivian, Tatum (I really like, wife not so much b/c “um” ending, Noel, Kennedy, Chloe. It’s been hard finding good middle names as our first is Amelia Jane (after my grandma) and we knew that was it when we picked it right away.
Family middle names: Jane, Anne, Marie, Mary, Louise, Margo (Margaret).
I think [name_f]Malou[/name_f] could be a great middle name choice! It’s originally a combination of [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] so could work as compromise for [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_u]Louise[/name_u].
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite names are [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] out of your list. Names I would suggest are:
[name_u]Ivy[/name_u]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_u]Paisley[/name_u]
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u]
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] or [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] Louise!! I think they pair best with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and they are beautiful names. I also love [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], but it as a bit of a tongue twister as PP said.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] Christensen is a bit of a tongue twister! With a girly name like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], too, I’d assume [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] was a boy in this case.
Some of the first ideas with your list were [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. I think they fit nicely with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], but [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] might flow better with the LN as [name_f]Viviana[/name_f]. I also really like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and the LN!! Some other names you may like are
[name_u]Welcome[/name_u] to Nameberry!
I have to agree with @persephonescrown and @clair.de.lune that [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] Christensen is a bit of a tongue twister so I would search for a name without a heavy N sound. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] fits nicely if you maybe like it enough to consider it for a first name? I really like the suggestions of….
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]
[name_f]Viviana[/name_f] (although not a fan of [name_f]Viv[/name_f] as a nn. [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] would be really cute if she ends up with a nn)
[name_f]Malou[/name_f] is a great suggestion as well!
Some of the names on your list strike me as a different style than [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. The ones that most complement her name, in my opinion, are [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_u]Anne[/name_u], [name_u]Louise[/name_u], & Margo/Margaret.
