[name_m]Hi[/name_m] lovelies so our baby due in a few months is definitely a girl and we are definitely feeling ‘[name_u]Briar[/name_u]’ as her first name.
After some of your lovely suggestions ‘[name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f],’ etc we’ve decided on a middle that can shorten to [name_u]Lou[/name_u] so our little one can be a [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] as a pet name.
Unfortunately [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is out as it clashes with our surname and I’m not a fan of [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. I do like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]! But was wondering if what other ways people have to get to ‘[name_u]Lou[/name_u]’?
I like the sound of [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Luella[/name_f] or [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is such a sweet name.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about just [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u]? I think that’s gorgeous! Otherwise I’d go with [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Luella[/name_f], [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f] or [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. Another option could be [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_u]Lux[/name_u] (or is it a bit of a stretch?).
I do love [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] on its own too! I was wondering if it maybe felt too ‘tacky’ somehow also having a strong middle that’s not so unusual works well with a first name that’s very unique I think! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] that makes sense
