I really like both, but [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is my favorite. I think the look of it is more clean, if that makes sense. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is on my list for a baby girl with the nickname [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. You really can’t go wrong, though.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is always my preferred spelling.
I’m very visual when it comes to names. Like [name_f]Catie[/name_f] and [name_f]Katie[/name_f] are two different names to me even though I know they are the same name. That said, [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_m]Cash[/name_m] looks more “porn-star”.
I pronounce them differently so I like the look and sound of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] much more.
I think [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] looks frilly and a little overworked, to be honest.
It’s part of a small but insidious group of Frenchified, feminized versions of classic names which are trending at the moment ([name_f]Juliette[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Violette[/name_f], [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]…) For me, it’s a real shame that the more elaborate versions seem to be slowly taking over, because the pared-back, streamlined beauty of the simpler spellings is a major part of their appeal to me.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is musical, romantic and a little bit mysterious - a stunning name! Personally, the extra -te actually takes away from that for me.
I prefer the more simple spelling if [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
I much prefer the [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] looks a bit over the top. Same with names like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], etc. I much prefer the look of the shorter versions. Honestly, to me, [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] look like spellings that a teen or child would prefer. Those spelling, for me, take away some of the beauty and charm of the names. Not totally the case for [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] but I feel there is no need for the extra letters.
