Help make combos for sister/s to Azula Rosemary & Indira Coral

We are going to start trying for another baby in 2015 & while we’ve settled on our top picks for a boy, we are looking to find good combos for a little sister or two (twins run strong in our family so that’s always a possibility - my maternal grandmother had four SETS of twins).

Our daughters are Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] or “Zu & [name_f]Indie[/name_f]” (In the future it’s possible they will hate their names & just go by their middles, I’m absolutely fine with that - then I get to use the names I liked that [name_u]Corey[/name_u] veto’d as first names! Gotta love [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] & [name_f]Coral[/name_f]!)
I would love to stick with the naturey middle theme we have going on.

[b][name_m]Link[/name_m] to my Girls Names list (these are not all DH approved, since he refuses to talk names til I’m pregnant)[/b]
Combos are the goal here, and name suggestions would be appreciated!

BTW Some of my favourite firsts right now are Nimue, [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f] (which is quite rare here, only 15 babies named [name_f]Freya[/name_f] were born in BC last year)… I like so many more but Azula’s jumping all over me & it’s getting difficult to type.
Some faves for middles: [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f]

Top picks for a boy, by the way, are [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Erickson[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] & Ender [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]/[name_u]Sage[/name_u]/[name_m]Crane[/name_m].

[name_f]TIA[/name_f] everybody! Berries to the rescue

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Gwenyth[/name_f]
[name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]
Nimue [name_f]Petal[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleni[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]
[name_f]Britta[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] with your girls’ names (which I love too)!

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]

I love your names so much! [name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering if you might consider a name without an ‘a’ ending. Not that it matters, my mother’s family names all end in ‘n’.

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f]
[name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] [name_f]Ziva[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]
[name_f]Calista[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]
[name_f]Perdita[/name_f] [name_f]Eliora[/name_f]
[name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Valencia[/name_f]
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Ondine[/name_f]
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Gwenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] [name_f]Nova[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Priya[/name_f]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f]

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] your daughters names and adore your picks for boys!!!

I really like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], but I feel like you need something even more uncommon, maybe even a bit foreign sounding. (Oh, and cool that you are from BC, I’m from [name_m]Ontario[/name_m].).

Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and

[name_f]Nola[/name_f] ([name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nola[/name_f]? ) - [name_f]Nola[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] or [name_f]Nola[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Britta[/name_f] - too close to british (columbia), [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. [name_f]Britta[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Avani[/name_f] / [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] - too close to Azula [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. [name_f]Avani[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] or [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] - [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] is a plant itself, so maybe not something nature-y. [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] works nicely! I also love [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] - [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] was on my list for a while.
[name_f]Eowyn[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] (so pretty!) - [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Didn’t have time to go through your whole name list, so just picked a few I thought were interesting!

I really love these with your other girls:
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] (If you don’t mind another A name)
[name_f]Calista[/name_f] ([name_u]Love[/name_u] the meaning)

@ [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] - [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] is very pretty. Great combo

@ [name_u]Abby[/name_u] - Thanks! I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]! [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is gorgeous, so ethereal.

@ [name_f]Anya[/name_f] - Definitely considering names that don’t end in -a because as much as I love them I’d like to break up the pattern too. [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is very cool, I love it but it is a bit dark & broody don’t you think? So’s [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] but it’s soo gorgeous! I love [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Ondine[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Anya[/name_f]'s too similar to Azula. I was going to take all the unusable ones off my list but I thought I’d leave them on in case people came up with some similar ones that I might like.
edit: the more I think about [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] the more I love it.

@ waverly123 - Cheers to another Canadian name lover :). Is [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] common in Toronto? It didn’t even make it onto the BC stats page because less than 5 girls were named [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] last year! I think it’s rare enough (way rarer than [name_f]Indira[/name_f] anyway) but perhaps not ‘exotic’ sounding enough? I think it sounds foreign, but it just screams WELSH to me, I guess Irish/Welsh/Scottish names are more common toward the Atlantic but here they’re fairly uncommon (aside from the ubiquitous [name_m]Connor[/name_m]/[name_u]Aiden[/name_u]/[name_u]Finn[/name_u] and whatnot). Thanks for taking the time to pick through a few names for me! I like [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] but I’d be worried people might call her [name_u]Cass[/name_u] or [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] which I find awful.

@ [name_f]Erin[/name_f] - Thanks! I do really like [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] but might stay away from [name_f]Ava[/name_f] names just cause of the recent popularity boom. Oh A names, how I love thee  & [name_f]Calista[/name_f] is totally gorgeous. I can’t remember if [name_u]Corey[/name_u] liked it or not, I think he just thought of [name_f]Calista[/name_f] Flockhart.

Bonus points:
In case the girls decide to go by their middles, I’d love to use a nature themed middle name that works as a sibling for [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Coral[/name_f]/[name_f]Coco[/name_f]. Preferably not another herb name as much as I love [name_u]Sage[/name_u] & [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] etc. And probably not another [name_u]Ocean[/name_u] name.

Loving the combo [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]!

Here are some other suggestions:

  • [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] (I think it will go well with your girls’ middle names)
  • [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Zelina[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] [name_u]Zia[/name_u]
  • [name_f]Calixta[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Zafira[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] Isaraella
  • [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Alanis[/name_f] [name_f]Verena[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Lani[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
  • [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Zarina[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f]

[name_f]Glad[/name_f] you like [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]…it sounds gorgeous and fits so well with [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & Azula. Your names are so pretty and fun to play with so here’s some more with naturey middles:

[name_f]Nola[/name_f] [name_f]Sapphire[/name_f]
Israelle [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u]
[name_f]Eleni[/name_f] [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] Avocet
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] Elaenia
[name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f]

Truenature - I didn’t see the darkness until you pointed it out. When my dh and I went to [name_f]Italy[/name_f] we absolutely loved [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f], and the most famous mosaic in the city has some jade tiles. So to me it’s just beautiful. I thought of a few others.

Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and…

[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Petal[/name_f] (would you do this? I think it’s so so pretty but then it’s like naming her a very specific thing rather than a symbol)
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Zaida[/name_f] (I’m pronouncing this ‘zah–EE–duh’, not ‘ZAY-dah’.)
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] (I like the ‘ooo’ sounds in both names)
[name_u]Persia[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] (this is an ‘a’ name but it goes so well with your daughters: Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f], [name_u]Persia[/name_u]… plus they all have “red” middle names, then, too: [name_f]ROSEmary[/name_f], [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]!)

[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] and [name_f]Gaia[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Winslet[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] Eilowny and [name_f]Charlize[/name_f] [name_f]Olwen[/name_f]

[name_f]Charlize[/name_f] [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvana[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] Nimue and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] and [name_f]Lunette[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Calista[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Gwyneira[/name_f]

[name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_f]Esperanza[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] [name_f]Mazarine[/name_f]
[name_f]Aviva[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] and [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Verena[/name_f] and [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_f]Eleni[/name_f]
[name_f]Junia[/name_f] Eilowny and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Ondine[/name_f]

I love Welsh names but [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is too soft for your sibset. Is [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] common where you are? I would suggest [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] but it’s too close to your daughter’s name. Here is my creative best:

[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_f]Thisbe[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] (was gonna say [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] but I see you like [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for a boy).

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like either one of these?

You have beautiful list. I forgot to tell you that.

First of all, I just want to say that your girls’ names are absolutely perfect. [name_f]Every[/name_f] time I see them in your signature I sort of fan girl over them because they are simply stunning.

[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and Ender also work so well with them!

I feel like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is a little soft with Azula and [name_f]Indira[/name_f], but what about [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f]? It has similar sounds, is LOTR (which you appear to have an abundance of names from on your list), and is much rarer like sisters. From your list, I also think [name_f]Calixta[/name_f]/[name_f]Calista[/name_f], [name_f]Winona[/name_f], [name_f]Verena[/name_f], [name_f]Zarina[/name_f], [name_f]Zafira[/name_f]. [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f], [name_f]Winona[/name_f], [name_f]Verena[/name_f] and Zafrina are absolutely wonderful with sister names!

Nomiki may fit your style. It’s not on NB but a few other sites list it as Greek. I’m also going to suggest [name_f]Eira[/name_f], [name_f]Valeska[/name_f], Valkyrie, [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], [name_f]Asteria[/name_f] and [name_f]Astoria[/name_f].

Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Verena[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Verena[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Calista[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Valeska[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Valeska[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Asteria[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Asteria[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Zafira[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Zafira[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and Nomiki [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and Nomiki [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]

Anticipating good things for you in 2015, [name_f]Katie[/name_f]!

To me, the most comparable addition to your sibset would be:

Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] {and} [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] {or} [name_f]Verena[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]

love the suggestions you already have! Your 2 girls both have beautiful names

[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] or Aderyn (bird)
[name_f]Perdita[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f]- A friend has just named his second daughter [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] short for [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f], his first is [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], I think they are in same solar system which is lovely.
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Nimue [name_f]Stella[/name_f] )or if [name_f]Stella[/name_f] isnt Naturey enough then Nimue [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f] or Nimue [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (another name for the lady of the lake) [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]

I think that Eirlys also fits with your list

[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] … to DIE for.

I love the nature style middle name theme - it’s lovely. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_u]Sage[/name_u] (although that is on your boy list).

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is also nice, and of course, if she grows up to hate [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful.

Good luck

I think Azula and [name_f]Indira[/name_f] need something just as fun and quirky so I would rule out some of the names such as [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], which are fairly popular and make better middle names.

Some I like but find a little too soft sounding with your daughters names; [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_f]Olwen[/name_f], [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f], [name_f]Nola[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Hera[/name_f] etc. I think something a little stronger sounding and then a more softer middle name would be best.

I think these work best;
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_u]Persia[/name_u] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Lark[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Gaia[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Reina[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]

WOW so many replies! Awesome!

I should qualify that we pronounce [name_f]Indira[/name_f] In-dee-ra as opposed to the more known IN-d(th)ih-rah. My understanding is that both pronunciations are legitimate, although our choice is less used. Most [name_u]North[/name_u] Americans tend to stress the second syllable anyway & I think it is softer sounding so I like it more.

@ vesper_rose - I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] too, and [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]! So good.

@ [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] - Thanks for the suggestions! I still like your suggestion of [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] most.

@ anyagreenwich - I’ve never been to [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] but I have friends that say it’s gorgeous. I don’t think [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Petal[/name_f] would work for me, it is a little too wordy. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Petal[/name_f] though! I think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] & [name_u]Persia[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] are wonderful - do you think [name_u]Persia[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is too Arabian Nights sounding? I really like it but it gives me a very specific image.

@ sorceress - Oh you came up with some truly beautiful combos. I particularly love [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f], [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] & [name_f]Charlize[/name_f] [name_f]Olwen[/name_f]. [name_f]Sylvana[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is gorgeous too.
Also, thanks! I have a hard time taking anything off my list. Sometimes I’ll delete a name & inevitably end up putting it back on within a day or two.

@ rainydaygarden - [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] isn’t super common here but I’m not that fond of it anyway. And the American ‘The Office’ ruined [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] for me with Ass-turd. I actually like [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for both genders! I just slotted it in for a boy because there are so many more naturey girl names that I could use. [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is very pretty.

@ steampunkleo - Aw shucks! Always nice to get some love for our picks. In the real world it usually takes people a while to get used to them. I do quite like [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f], but I still prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] just a teensy bit. I used to be a huge LOTR fan when I was in highschool so I’m hesitant to use a Tolkien name. Otherwise it’d be all [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] & Samwise for me! I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Zarina[/name_f] & your suggestion of [name_f]Eira[/name_f]. [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is so pretty I love the repetitive sounds. You made somer great suggestions for me to mull over, thank you!

@ apollonia - [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is wonderful! I like the repetition of the Vs. So Mediterranean sounding!

@ gingercat - Thank you, I love Nimue [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] & [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]!

@ pemby - I love the sound of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] & [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] but it would bother me that both names were trees!

@ sheflieswithherownwings - I suppose I agree about stronger firsts with softer middles, that has been our trend so far. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Persia[/name_u] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] & [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f].

Thanks for the feedback so far, guys! Loving the great combos you’re coming up with. I get a little overwhelmed trying to mix & match with my own list so its great to have some input.

Oooh man, how did I miss this thread? I always have so much fun with your lovely lists, [name_f]Katie[/name_f].

Out of curiosity, which names do you classify as “nature?” A few of the ones on your list are kind of gray areas–[name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Nova[/name_f], [name_f]Marina[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvana[/name_f]…

Possibly repeats.

[name_f]Nola[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Nova[/name_f]

[name_u]Persia[/name_u] feels a little odd/wordy next to your girls’ names–do you like the similar [name_f]Persis[/name_f] or Perseda? And since you like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Rufina[/name_f] (which I’d avoid because it has “roofie” in it), has anyone suggested [name_f]Rubina[/name_f] yet?
