I’m not American so I don’t know how helpful I can be but I voted for [name_u]Dash[/name_u] as I think it’s a really sweet name. [name_u]Ash[/name_u] would work as well.
I find [name_u]Ari[/name_u] and [name_u]Adi[/name_u] to be confusing because I don’t know which is more natural with the pronunciation of Aadarsh.
Are you pronouncing Aadarsh with a long a at the beginning? Or with a shorter [name_m]AH[/name_m] sound instead? I would assume [name_m]AH[/name_m] like [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] which would make [name_u]Ari[/name_u] more intuitive as a nickname than [name_u]Adi[/name_u].

That is what I thought so perhaps the pronunciation won’t be as troublesome as you think? I would definitely go with [name_u]Ari[/name_u] over [name_u]Adi[/name_u] as a nickname. [name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_u]Dash[/name_u] or [name_u]Ash[/name_u] all sound great!

I don’t think it’s difficult to pronounce either but any NN option is fine if your son chooses to do go by that later on.

[name_u]Adi[/name_u] or Darsh feel the most intuitive to me, though honestly any could work. You could always wait and see what evolves naturally if you’re equally OK with any of these options.

I love [name_u]Ash[/name_u], [name_u]Dash[/name_u] and [name_u]Ari[/name_u] for this name, but [name_u]Ari[/name_u] is probably my favorite. Aadarsh is great, by the way! Though Americans may not be familiar with it, I don’t think Aadarsh will be hard to pronounce once they hear it spoken aloud.

I agree with @katinka, [name_u]Adi[/name_u] and Darsh sound most natural to me, and I voted for [name_u]Adi[/name_u]. :slight_smile:

I think the nickname [name_u]Ari[/name_u] is the best option, but really any of them would work well.
