Help me eliminate two names

I was in the process of narrowing down to my top five combinations, but I ended up using one of the five in a combination and dropping another one. I need to bump up two names from my extended list, but I’m having a hard time choosing between them. I was able to narrowed down to [name_m]Leopold[/name_m], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].

Which two do you think goes best with [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u]?
Would it be bad to use [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] on siblings? The sounds are different, but I worry because they both start with Ja-.

I think [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] might be a little too matchy on siblings, unfortunately, although [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] would still be lovely as a middle name.
[name_u]August[/name_u] seems to be in a very different vein to [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], and [name_u]James[/name_u], so I would say narrow it down to [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], although I certainly prefer [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] of the two.
Looking at your votable name list, I think [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Godfrey[/name_m] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] would be gorgeous.
Good luck! You really can’t go wrong with any of your choices- I think your taste in names is brilliant.

Which two do you think goes best with [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u]? Gosh, I am having trouble. It is easier for me to say I would get rid of [name_m]Leopold[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u], and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] all go wonderfully with [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], and [name_u]James[/name_u]. I think you should even up your lists and make a top 6.

Would it be bad to use [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] on siblings? - I see no issue with using [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] on siblings. Personally I might avoid the same beginning if I had a third child, in case a fourth came along.

I agree with the above-- I would not use [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] for sibs. From your other choices, I’d go with either [name_m]Leopold[/name_m]/[name_m]Leo[/name_m] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]/[name_u]Theo[/name_u] with [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], and [name_u]James[/name_u]. Some other possibilities: [name_m]Ivo[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m], and [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m].

I would pick [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] an [name_u]August[/name_u] to go with [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] (awesome name!), [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], and [name_u]James[/name_u].
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] & [name_u]James[/name_u] are fine together. [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is JAH, and [name_u]James[/name_u] is [name_u]JAY[/name_u], one is 1 syllable and the other is 2… I’ve seen non-Duggar siblings named more similar names with no issues

Thank you everyone for your thoughts! Also thank you all for the reassurance on [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]. I’ve decided that [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] will be one of the two and I going to drop [name_u]August[/name_u]. I made the decision to knock out [name_u]August[/name_u] based on the fact I like to nickname and I prefer [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] over Auggie or [name_u]Gus[/name_u]. I love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] while I only like [name_m]Leo[/name_m], so that knocked [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] out lastly.

If I was to use [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] in a sibling set it wouldn’t be back to back. I promise not go full on Duggar!(Jalaric, [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], Jelijah, [name_u]James[/name_u], Jlilith, Jekatarina and Jadalind).

It’d be more like: [name_m]Alaric[/name_m], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], [name_f]Katarina[/name_f], [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], [name_u]James[/name_u] and Adalind.

Off to make a thread on [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] middles. I already have a few on my mind.
