Help me find a nickname for....

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
We do not like [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] at all and are not a huge fan of [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. Anyone got any ideas of a nickname we could use as I’m afraid that as much as I want to just use the full name [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], I fear someone else will go there anyway. Ideas?

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is such a lovely name! I agree about [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], though I do think [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is quite cute. Here are a few suggestions; a few might be a bit farfetched, though.
[name_f]Lotte[/name_f] (pronounced [name_m]Lott[/name_m]-ah, I think)
[name_f]Carly[/name_f] or [name_f]Carla[/name_f]
[name_u]Arly[/name_u] or [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_f]Callie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f], with the -lo sound in [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Cat[/name_f]
Good luck and I hope this helps!

[name_f]Charty[/name_f]
[name_u]Ottie[/name_u]
[name_f]Char[/name_f]
[name_m]Chaz[/name_m]
[name_m]Chuck[/name_m]
[name_m]Charlot[/name_m]
[name_f]Totty[/name_f]
[name_f]Lotta[/name_f]
[name_f]Lolly[/name_f]
[name_f]Lolo[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Carly[/name_f]
[name_u]Arly[/name_u]
[name_f]Cece[/name_f]
[name_m]Chip[/name_m]
[name_f]Charline[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlottie[/name_f]
Charlottine

depending on the middle name —*CC, CK, CB…
or a random “word nickname” like [name_u]Sunny[/name_u], [name_f]Happy[/name_f]…

What about [name_u]Ari[/name_u] or [name_f]Lettie[/name_f]?

Any more suggestions?

I like [name_f]Lotta[/name_f].

I call my friend [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Char[/name_f] [name_f]Char[/name_f]…

Yeah she pretty much gets [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]… and Harlotte…

Although you aren’t a fan, I love the nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. Only other one I think I would use is [name_f]Char[/name_f].

[name_f]Carrie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cherry[/name_f]
[name_f]Lolly[/name_f]

I love the suggestions of [name_u]Arly[/name_u] & [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]! They’re adorable. I’ve been watching reruns of [name_f]Happy[/name_f] Days lately, and they have a [name_m]Charles[/name_m] nicknamed Chachi, which might work for a girl. I also like Ars : )

[name_f]Lotte[/name_f] is pronounced (lot-ee) which is super cute. The only other nickname i’ve heard for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] besides [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is [name_f]Char[/name_f] ([name_f]Shar[/name_f]) Other nicknames seem like a stretch for the name. Some people will give a hard pronunciation to the first letter of the name for example…for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] she would be called C.C. or Cee Cee

I like [name_f]Cherry[/name_f].

Harlo? Ceecee?

[name_f]My[/name_f] cousin’s 2yo is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and she doesn’t have a name-related nn. They ask everyone to call her just [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] because their dog’s name is [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. They call her Bug.

My wife and I chose the name [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. It’s a GREAT name, but we wanted a fun nickname. I came up with Cha Cha, and it fits my daughter - now an upbeat seven year old - like a glove. Lots of people comment about what a fun nickname it is when they first learn of the name.

My mother’s name is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and from day 1 her nickname was [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] but it was pronounced “[name_f]Sharlie[/name_f]”. She also liked the nickname [name_f]Lola[/name_f].
