I just found out my third baby is another boy. I’m a little bummed. So I’m now on a mission to find a name I absolutely love to get over the fact I’m not having a girl.
I already have an [name_m]Adam[/name_m] (named after my husband) and a [name_u]Max[/name_u].
We both like names that are difficult to impossible to shorten into nicknames, for example no [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] or [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] type names. I’d consider a longer name if it were perfect though but prefer shorter ones. I love both classic names and creative names but not so popular they’re on the top 20 popular names list and not so unusual people would have a hard time spelling or pronouncing them.
These are sort of on my list but I’m not in love with them:

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] (I love it but I know someone who used it)
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] (I love this one but hate how popular it’s become)
Not too close. We were actually talking names and I told her I picked that one if we had another boy and she stole it. We mostly talk online and rarely meet in person.
I agree. I haven’t ruled it out yet. I’m just looking for other options hoping I find one I love more. So far it’s the only name my 3 yo likes not that that matters.

Of the ones you like, I’d pick [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]. As long as you and the mother of the other [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] aren’t best friends I’d say it’s ok.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I’ve added [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] to my list. There are several other names I like too but my husband is picky and said no. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] being one of them.
