I’m in the process of planning a novel (possibly the first in a series) about the fae. The fae in my story are more ‘traditional,’ and based on the legends of old. So, rather than evoking images of tiny creatures with glittering wings, my fae will be of all shapes and sizes, with skin of all colours (natural and unnatural) and those who do have wings will either have wings that resemble some sort of animal, wings with a slight, subtle sheen, or feathered wings (so almost like raven wings I suppose). Think talons, sharp teeth, animal and plant characteristics etc. They will also be split into the Seelie and Unseelie Courts.
I am in need of both male and female names and names for fae of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. Gender neutral names are acceptable. I would prefer more unusual names.
Names that are definitely decided upon:
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] – The Seelie [name_f]Princess[/name_f]
Ninnia – The Seelie [name_m]King[/name_m]’s ward
[name_m]Aodhan[/name_m] – The Seelie [name_m]King[/name_m]
[name_f]Allura[/name_f] – Cousin to the Unseelie Crown [name_m]Prince[/name_m]
Tamlin – Ninnia’s love interest
[name_f]Aurinda[/name_f] – a member of two feuding households
Velibor – [name_f]Allura[/name_f]’s father, grand high executioner of the Unseelie [name_m]Court[/name_m]
[name_m]Astrophel[/name_m] – Mother to the Unseelie Crown [name_m]Prince[/name_m]
[name_f]Lilium[/name_f] – a completely awesome character that I will work into the plot somehow
