[name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] and [name]Finlay[/name] [name]James[/name] won in the last poll; what do you think of these?
Last name is [name]Hutchinson[/name], which is really long so I probably use a nn.
[name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name]
It’s classic and will work well on an adult.
[name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] is excellent.
Personally I like [name]Finlay[/name] as it’s not overused. Nn [name]Finn[/name].
I lean towards [name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name].
I like both - it really depends on the vibe that you’re aiming for. [name]Finlay[/name] [name]James[/name] is relaxed and sweet. [name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] is strong and proud.
I think they’re both great. Sorry that’s not much help! If pushed, I’d choose [name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name], but I think they’re both lovely.
I agree with this. When I picture [name]Finlay[/name] [name]James[/name] in my head I think of artist, writer, psychiatrist, social worker. When I picture [name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] in my head I think [name]Wall[/name] [name]Street[/name] and the White House.
I prefer [name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name]. It’s distinguished and strong, whereas [name]Finlay[/name] [name]James[/name] is just kind of… eh? I really like [name]Finlay[/name] for a boy, but I’ve gotten to the point where I’m automatically turned off of any name with [name]James[/name] in the middle spot.
[name]Both[/name] of those are great names. In normal circumstances, I would usually prefer [name]Finlay[/name] over [name]William[/name], but when [name]William[/name] is paired up with [name]Ambrose[/name] it takes on a whole new element of awesome. I really like the name [name]Ambrose[/name] a lot, but don’t necessarily consider it a good first name possibility, but slide it into the middle spot and… bam… just about any classic name (like [name]William[/name]) that I sometimes find a bit boring is now great. [name]Finlay[/name] needs a better paired middle name to make it shine ([name]Ambrose[/name] wouldn’t work with it, and [name]James[/name] just doesn’t help [name]Finlay[/name] rise in awesomeness).
[name]William[/name] [name]Ambrose[/name] has more personality than [name]Finlay[/name] [name]James[/name].
I like both, but I think I prefer [name]Finlay[/name] [name]James[/name]!
