Hello - I am due in [name_f]May[/name_f] with our first child. A boy. Super excited, but terrified to pick a name. I don’t want to screw it up. I’ve been looking for normal and easy to spell, but not boring. Does that exist??
What would you name a child with the last name Aceituno (pronounced [name_m]Ah[/name_m] say tune oh)? I am Irish and Italian. He is Venezuelan.
@yuma beat me to it — [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] is familiar and easy to spell, but not too common. And it’s got that bit of flair! I think [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] works fine with Aceituno.
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is another normal-but-cool name. Also [name_u]Dexter[/name_u], [name_u]Amari[/name_u], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Deacon[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] and [name_m]Roman[/name_m]—all in the top 500 in the U.S. (if that’s where you’re located) with one dominant spelling.
As you’re Irish and Italian, how about [name_u]Aidan[/name_u], [name_m]Connor[/name_m], [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_m]Liam[/name_m], or [name_u]Luca/name_u? Nice Venezuelan names that would go well with your surname are [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], and [name_m]Leo/name_m.
