[name_f]My[/name_f] baby girl will be arriving very soon, due date [name_u]June[/name_u] 3rd. Dad & I have spent the past few months trying to choose the perfect name for her. Her first name will be [name_u]Emery[/name_u] or [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] (to honor late grandfather [name_u]Emery[/name_u]) but we’re overwhelmed with the middle name options we love for both. Please help, feedback or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
We really like the idea of a single syllable nature name in the middle but we’ve been told to go for something that will feminize the unisex names, we like Isobel/Isabel/Isabelle, (my mn is Isobel but I like the other variations) Arabelle/Arabella.
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] is a beautiful name and I feel that the y over the -son ending will make it more feminine. I personally love [name_u]Sage[/name_u] best but feel it’s a good break as [name_u]Emery[/name_u] and your last name end in y (I love the sound of names like that)
I like the idea of a feminine middle with a unisex first. So I would use something like [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] or [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f].
When it comes to [name_u]Emery[/name_u] I think you can go a bit more unisex. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] and [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_u]Brook[/name_u]. Though I prefer [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] with an E.
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_u]Emery[/name_u]! And out of the list [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is my favorite. What about [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? That would be pretty too!
That’s a great point. [name_f]My[/name_f] middle name is actually [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], which I love but always wanted to change to “[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].” [name_f]My[/name_f] husband says if we choose it we may as well go with the way my name is spelled, I suppose he has a point
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely… But my niece is [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], I think my sister would have a fit:)
Any name on your list that shows up as two orange or unisex names, doesn’t work. Choose one that shows up pink. I like [name_u]Brook[/name_u] with both names but spell it [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] so it’s clearly feminine.
As for my favorite of the two, I prefer [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] because I love the nickname [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]! I know you could use [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] for [name_u]Emery[/name_u] too but the names are too close to be full and nicknames in my opinion.
I loooove the name [name_u]Sage[/name_u], so my first choice would be [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u].
If you want a name that leans more to girls name then [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] would be nice.
Since she will be born in [name_u]June[/name_u], why not use it as a middlename? [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] sounds lovely and obviously feminine.
What about [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? Since [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is unisex, I’m thinking a feminine middle name would soften it up a bit : )
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] are boyish and unisex so I would opt for a more feminine middle name. [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] would be my preference. The only “son” name I like for a girl is [name_f]Alison[/name_f]/[name_u]Allison[/name_u].
