Help! Need names for my Quads!

Help! I’m pregnant with quadruplets and me and DH don’t have any ideas. We are both Irish and we already have a daughter named [name]Paisley[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. We don’t know the genders of the babies yet and we would like to have 3 boy names and 3 girl names just to be on the safe side. We do want to keep the first names Irish to go with our heritage. Thanks! Suggestions are welcome! We can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

[name]Siobhan[/name] (prounced shiv-awn)
[name]Aisling[/name] (prounced [name]Ash[/name]-ling)
[name]Ciara[/name] ([name]Kiera[/name])
[name]Keela[/name] or [name]Kyla[/name]
[name]Nola[/name] (from Fionnoula)
[name]Nora[/name] (from [name]Honora[/name])
[name]Saoirse[/name] (prounounced sear-sha)

[name]Ciaran[/name] (pronounced [name]Keer[/name]-an)
[name]Niall[/name] (pronounced [name]Neil[/name])

That’s all I can think of right now! I hope you see some you like!

From the list above and from my own lists, I quite like [name]Callum[/name], [name]Lochlan[/name] and [name]Seamus[/name] for boys (it’s nice to have no matching first letters, [name]IMO[/name]) and [name]Keira[/name], [name]Nola[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] for girls. For middle names, I’d suggest using family names, if you’re into that, as you’re having 4 at once (congrats X4 by the way!!!) and perhaps let your daughter help pick a middle name, if she’s old enough of course!

Anyway, here are some Irish combinations I quite like:

[name]Callum[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Lochlan[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]
[name]Seamus[/name] [name]Liam[/name] or [name]Liam[/name] [name]Seamus[/name]
[name]Kieran[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name] [name]Davin[/name]
[name]Emmet[/name] [name]Finn[/name]

[name]Fiona[/name] [name]Erin[/name]
[name]Nola[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Keira[/name] [name]Shannon[/name]
[name]Alannah[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Kyla[/name] [name]Cassidy[/name]

I like [name]Lochlan[/name] and [name]Nola[/name] from the suggestions.

Is [name]Paisley[/name] an Irish name?

[name]Paisley[/name] is one of those names that databases and books list as Irish incorrectly. I have lived in [name]Ireland[/name] my whole life and have never heard of anyone with such a name. Unfortunately databases have a terrible habit of listing a whole host of names as Irish when they clearly aren’t.

Congratulations! You must be so excited yet scared. At how many weeks gestation does your doctor expect you to deliver? Multiples interest me so much, twins run in my family but my two DD’s are singletons.
Some ideas:

[name]Sullivan[/name], [name]Rafferty[/name] and [name]Gulliver[/name]
[name]Brendan[/name], [name]Desmond[/name] and [name]Malachy[/name]
[name]Ciaran[/name], [name]Lorcan[/name] and [name]Ronan[/name]
[name]Colm[/name], [name]Eamon[/name] and [name]Niall[/name]

[name]Maeve[/name], [name]Bridget[/name] and [name]Finola[/name]
[name]Aoife[/name], [name]Ciara[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] (ee-fa, keera)
[name]Caoimhe[/name], [name]Niamh[/name] and [name]Roisin[/name] (keeva, neev, ro-sheen)

Seamas, [name]Colm[/name], and [name]Declan[/name]
[name]Michael[/name], [name]Thomas[/name], and [name]Francis[/name]
[name]Malachy[/name], [name]Cormac[/name], and [name]Desmond[/name]

[name]Brigid[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], and [name]Eilis[/name]
[name]Caitlin[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], and [name]Alice[/name]
[name]Grainne[/name], [name]Deirdre[/name], and [name]Niamh[/name]

[name]Paisley[/name] is Scottish, not Irish. In fact, it is representative of Protestant [name]Ireland[/name] because of [name]Ian[/name] [name]Paisley[/name].

Hey, thanks so much for all of the suggestions! The babies were born at 8:24-8:37 this morning. We would like to announce that [name]Kennedy[/name] [name]Alexis[/name], [name]Delaney[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Brenna[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], and [name]Aidan[/name] [name]James[/name] have entered the world! We decided to use [name]Alexis[/name], [name]Grace[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], and [name]James[/name]; [name]Alexis[/name] is my middle name, [name]Grace[/name] is DH’s mom’s name, [name]Elizabeth[/name] is my mom’s name, and [name]James[/name] is DH’s middle name.

By the way we know that [name]Paisley[/name] isn’t an Irish name, we just decided to include our heritage with these four. (No more after the quads)

Congratulations, glad they arrived safely and healthy. Good luck!

[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
Nimah [name]Ella[/name]

[name]Liam[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]
[name]Colin[/name] [name]Harris[/name]
[name]Craig[/name] Quadly
