Help needed in brainstorming English/Spanish boy names

[name]Hi[/name] all!

I am attempting to create a list of boy names that are easily pronounced in English and Spanish (the pronunciation doesn’t have to be identical in both languages, but I do need a name that a Spanish speaker could easily say as well as an English speaker). We have one son named [name]Victor[/name] [name]David[/name]. Our last name sounds like Mailing without the “g” on the end. I love the name [name]Ruben[/name] but my DH isn’t convinced. We’re also considering [name]Martin[/name], [name]Gustavo[/name], [name]Ezra[/name] and [name]Oscar[/name]. I’m not sure that I want to repeat the ending “r” sound in [name]Victor[/name], but I do really like [name]Oscar[/name]…I’d love to hear any suggestions from nameberries more creative and knowledgeable than myself! Thanks in advance

I really love [name]Cruz[/name]!

Thanks! I’m adding it to our list. [name]Victor[/name] [name]Cruz[/name] is a famous soccer player, it might be cool to have a [name]Victor[/name] and a [name]Cruz[/name] in the family!

Oh, haha, I didn’t even think of [name]Victor[/name] [name]Cruz[/name].

Other names you could consider:
[name]Aaron[/name]
[name]Adrian[/name]
[name]Anton[/name]
[name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Daniel[/name]
[name]Elias[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Hector[/name] (though this is probably way too close to [name]Victor[/name])
[name]Hugo[/name]
[name]Louis[/name]/[name]Lois[/name]/[name]Luis[/name]
[name]Marco[/name]
[name]Mario[/name]
[name]Mateo[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Ricardo[/name]
[name]Simon[/name]
[name]Tristan[/name]

I really like [name]Gustavo[/name]. Here are some other suggestions:
[name]Benicio[/name]
[name]Camilo[/name]
[name]Emilio[/name]
[name]Fabian[/name]
[name]Joaquin[/name]
[name]Leandro[/name]
[name]Orlando[/name]
[name]Rafael[/name]
[name]Santos[/name]

[name]Diego[/name]
[name]Nicolas[/name]
[name]Thomas[/name]/[name]Tomas[/name]
[name]Albert[/name]/[name]Alberto[/name]
[name]Alfred[/name]/[name]Alfredo[/name]
[name]Francisco[/name]

Thank you! I like [name]Fabian[/name] quite a bit - and [name]Santos[/name] too.

Thank you! [name]Nicolas[/name] is one I hadn’t thought of and [name]Nicolas[/name] Mailin’ sounds lovely.

Great! Thank you! I love [name]Hector[/name] but you’re definitely right, it’s too similar. Oh well.

I have [name]Aaron[/name] and [name]Adrian[/name] picked out if I need to name a Spanish/English baby. I also like [name]Diego[/name] and [name]Mateo[/name]. [name]Victor[/name] [name]David[/name] is perfect! Stay away from [name]Manuel[/name], that’s for sure.

[name]Lucas[/name] and [name]Mateo[/name] are my personal choices for a Spanish/English baby. I think they work perfectly in both languages.

I wanted to suggested [name]Dario[/name]. I’ve always loved it and it also works well in both languages.

From your original list I like [name]Martin[/name]… I especially like “mar teen” rather than “mar tin”

[name]Adrian[/name] is so handsome! Thank you!

[name]Dario[/name] is great, unusual but totally easy to spell and pronounce. I appreciate the support on [name]Martin[/name] - I love it but imagine a lot of folks see it as a clunker - and [name]Lucas[/name] is lovely too. Thank you!

My husband and I have been trying to come up with names that fit those criteria too. [name]Lucas[/name] and [name]Marcus[/name] were among the favorites. We also tossed around [name]Sebastian[/name], [name]Adrian[/name], and [name]Gabriel[/name]. [name]Alexander[/name]/[name]Alejandro[/name] also works well.
