[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] is fantastic, and got my vote straight away. That said, you’ve got double associations with ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ in this combo, with [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Finch[/name_u] and author [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u], which isn’t at all a bad thing, but may not have been something you’d considered.
If not [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], then I prefer [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] (though personally I would intuitively say ZAY-vee-er, your pronunciation is pretty cool too) to [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], which I find far too trendy-common (at least around here).
I voted [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]
I voted [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. I think its a handsome, under used name. And I love the meaning. The only [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] I know is in his 30s.
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] i do find trendy. Not necessarily a bad thing, but doesn’t seem to be what you’re going for.
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m] I pronounce as 3 syllables. Though I find it handsome I’ve never considered it an option as I hate how divided people are pronunciation. It doesn’t bother me for some names, but for some reason it annoys the crap out of me with [name_m]Xavier[/name_m].
Good luck.
love love love [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]!!! pronounced the same as yourself though never heard any other pronounciations before until reading the other mentions… interesting
good luck!! xo
I vote for [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]! It sounds great with [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. While I like [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], I think it’s a bit hipster/trendy. And I think your pronunciation for [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] would be butchered all the time-- I would be part of the population thinking you’re mispronouncing the name.
Good luck!
I voted for [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], my personal favourite from your list next to your children’s names, but it’s very closely followed by [name_m]Xavier[/name_m].
I love the way [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] sounds, but I voted for [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. I think it is safer and the best of the three choices. I can’t imagine always using the full name [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and there aren’t any easy nicknames, except possibly [name_u]Gus[/name_u], which I’m not that fond of. I also can’t imagine pronouncing [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] with three syllables.
I think [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] sounds distinguished, but friendly and approachable. It matches well with [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. I don’t see any problem with the way [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] works with the middle name [name_u]Lee[/name_u]. They are fine together. If you think it improves the flow, is there a possibility of amending the name to [name_m]Leo[/name_m]?
I voted for a [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]! I love the meaning of laughter, too, and I think it flows well just differently than the other two. Like above I keep trying to shorten [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and can’t. But if that doesn’t bother you maybe it’s the way to go. [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] is cute but really common around me, while [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is pretty rare. Funny how your region affects that. I live in the suburb of a major Midwest city.
Definitely 100% [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. Great name (and gives you [name_m]Ike[/name_m] as a nickname option if you like it). I agree with all of your concerns about the name [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]. To be honest, it’s not a name I like at all.
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is the best fit with your other children’s name and my favourite on your list.
I don’t like [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] at all (pronounced like that), especially with your other children’s names.
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. It’s underappreciated imo and I love the meaning. I think it sounds great with [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] especially, but [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] too.
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] <3
I voted [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. I quite like [name_m]Xavier[/name_m], but only when it’s pronounced in the traditional way with a “z” sound. I am afraid the pronunciation you prefer might be an uphill battle.
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] does sound very hipster and I think will be a trendy name for this time period. I also thought of the double association with To Kill a Mockingbird.
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m] is my pick!
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is one of my favorite names ever but for some reason I don’t love it with [name_u]Lee[/name_u]. I voted for [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u].
