Help! Opinions on my list

We are having a really hard time deciding on a name this time for DD#2. DD#1’s name is [name]Kamille[/name] Novelle so I’d like something that goes with her name. I don’t like trendy, overly popular names which I think is what is holding me back b/c some of names on our list I’m seeing all over the name boards. Below is our list and we have a top 3 out of that but just can’t decide. Please rank or tell me your thoughts.

In no particular order:

Liviana
[name]Arden[/name]
[name]Viviana[/name] or [name]Vivianne[/name]
[name]Landry[/name]
[name]Marlowe[/name]
[name]Lyla[/name]
[name]Finley[/name]
[name]Everly[/name]

Out of your list I love the name [name]Everly[/name] (nn [name]Ever[/name]) and [name]Marlowe[/name] and [name]Lyla[/name] are cute!

Other suggestions may be:
[name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Easter[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Dove[/name]/[name]Dova[/name]
[name]Ethie[/name]
[name]Harlow[/name]
[name]Eden[/name]

Best of luck!

[name]Kamille[/name] Novelle and…

Liviana - more frilly than [name]Kamille[/name], and every time I see it I want to say “[name]Lavinia[/name]”
[name]Arden[/name] - I think this goes well with [name]Kamille[/name]. [name]Both[/name] two syllables, feminine but not girly.
[name]Viviana[/name]/[name]Vivianne[/name] - [name]Viviana[/name] and [name]Kamille[/name] would work. If you’re going with [name]Vivianne[/name] then I prefer [name]Vivienne[/name] (but it’s not a big deal really).
[name]Landry[/name] - seems too surnamey/boysih next to the [name]Kamille[/name].
[name]Marlowe[/name] - I think [name]Marlowe[/name] and [name]Kamille[/name] could work, although [name]Marlowe[/name] seems a bit more hipster.
[name]Lyla[/name] - I really like [name]Lyla[/name] and [name]Kamille[/name] together!
[name]Finley[/name] - too boyish with [name]Kamille[/name]
[name]Everly[/name] - trendy, brings out the funky-ness of [name]Kamille[/name] with a K more.

Overall my favourites with [name]Kamille[/name] are [name]Arden[/name], [name]Viviana[/name], and [name]Lyla[/name].

From your list, I like [name]Lyla[/name] best. I would love to see [name]Vivienne[/name].

[name]How[/name] about

[name]Kira[/name] and [name]Kamille[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] and [name]Kamille[/name]
[name]Lilla[/name] and [name]Kamille[/name]

Liviana - i think [name]Lavinia[/name] too, but its still pretty. think there is something better out there.
[name]Arden[/name] - not trendy yet, but a name people pick when trying too hard to be different, [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Arden[/name] conotation
[name]Viviana[/name] or [name]Vivianne[/name] - [name]Vivianne[/name] is better with [name]Kamille[/name] for flow
[name]Landry[/name] - kinda like laundry, plus a lil too masculine
[name]Marlowe[/name] - trendy, [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Sparrow[/name], ow ow ow
[name]Lyla[/name] - would have been better if you had a [name]Kamilla[/name], try [name]Ianthe[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] - TRENDY
[name]Everly[/name] - TRENDY

If you don’t want a trendy name I would stay away from [name]Marlowe[/name], [name]Finley[/name] and [name]Everly[/name]

My favorites are:
[name]Viviana[/name]
and
[name]Lyla[/name] ([name]Lila[/name] spelling, [name]Lyla[/name] looks trendy)

Liviana - I prefer [name]Livinia[/name], but it’s pretty. My all time favorite nn is [name]Livy[/name].
[name]Arden[/name] - makes me think of [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Arden[/name], I like the impression of ardent and it’s an interesting name, I think I prefer [name]Adair[/name] though. I’ve also heard [name]Ardith[/name].
[name]Viviana[/name] or [name]Vivianne[/name] - I’m not really fond of the [name]Viv[/name], [name]Vivian[/name], [name]Vivienne[/name], [name]Viviana[/name] style names. They’re just not my cup of tea,
[name]Landry[/name] - too much like laundry
[name]Marlowe[/name] - meh, I don’t hate it. I know a teenager named this and it fits her. It’s just not something I really love.
[name]Lyla[/name] - I much prefer [name]Lyra[/name] since [name]Lyla[/name] can be spelled in so many different ways ([name]Lila[/name], [name]Lilla[/name], [name]Lilah[/name], [name]Lylah[/name], Lylla, etc.
[name]Finley[/name] - I prefer this for a boy, I do think Finnah is pretty though
[name]Everly[/name] - I have to admit that I do like this a lot. I love [name]Eve[/name] and I think [name]Ever[/name] is very pretty. Despite it’s trendiness I really like it.

So based on your list I’d name kids: [name]Livinia[/name], [name]Adair[/name], [name]Lyra[/name], and [name]Everly[/name]

[name]Lyla[/name] and [name]Marlow[/name]/e are my favorites

Interesting that you all have consistently listed at least one of our top 3 in your favorites.
I came across the [name]Reverie[/name] on here today as well. Thoughts on that? Too hard to say/ mispronounce?

I think [name]Viviana[/name] and [name]Kamille[/name] makes a great sibset.

Also if it helps - DD#1 has curly blonde hair, blue eyes, button nose and full cheeks. From my last u/s which I was able to get a 3D on, this baby has those same cheeks and nose, looks the same as DD#1’s pic. Obviously not sure on eyes or hair yet, but more than likely will have blue eyes.

With [name]Kamille[/name] my favorite is [name]Lyla[/name]. [name]Lyla[/name] fits well with [name]Kamille[/name] as they are both feminine, yet not over-the-top girly. And in response to seeing names all of the nameboards and being worried that your child will end up with a popular name, I think that many of the names that we berries love aren’t very popular, I mean there are some that have become popular, but still I would worry more about the popularity of a specific name where you live as opposed to the nameboards.

I think you should use a name with double letters that seems to be a theme in the daughters name [although trying to steer away from deliberate kreyaaayteeve spellings]

Girls :
[name]Aaliyah[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Lillian[/name]
[name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Renee[/name]
[name]Zanna[/name]
[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Emma[/name]
[name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name]
[name]Jennifer[/name]
[name]Lynn[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Mallory[/name]
[name]Isabelle[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Michelle[/name]
[name]Danielle[/name]
[name]Vanessa[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Marissa[/name]
[name]Kathleen[/name]
[name]Jessica[/name]
[name]Jillian[/name]
[name]Vivienne[/name]

I have listed random[ish] names because the names you have listed are a very different style to your daughters name.

I heard [name]Reverie[/name], which I like and is probably the most unique of the name’s listed. Instead of Liviana (which, like many others, I mistook for [name]Lavinia[/name]), might I suggest [name]Livia[/name]? I’ve never heard anyone with the name and it flows nicely with sis [name]Kamille[/name].
A lot of the names you listed were trendy and/or boyish that clashed with the feminine [name]Kamille[/name]. Other things that came to mind (sorry for repeats): [name]Keira[/name], [name]Florentine[/name], [name]Mika[/name], [name]Niamh[/name], [name]Venecia[/name]/[name]Venice[/name], Lenka, [name]Mariette[/name], [name]Verasha[/name], [name]Lurlene[/name], [name]Hannelore[/name], [name]Verla[/name], [name]Anastasia[/name], [name]Petra[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Theodora[/name], [name]Nadine[/name], [name]Marguerite[/name], [name]Mathilde[/name], [name]Fiorella[/name], [name]Cressida[/name], [name]Eglantine[/name], [name]Tallulah[/name], [name]Dominica[/name], [name]Faye[/name], [name]Odette[/name], [name]Verona[/name], [name]Laverne[/name], [name]Fiammetta[/name], [name]Virginie[/name], [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Antonette[/name], [name]Magdalena[/name], [name]Ophelia[/name], [name]Eleanora[/name], [name]Delilah[/name], [name]Valencia[/name], [name]Feodora[/name], [name]Valentina[/name], [name]Rivka[/name], [name]Sebastia[/name]

Liviana - Pretty…Unlike the posters mistaking it for [name]Lavinia[/name], I mistook it for the lovely [name]Livana[/name]. I don’t think any of these go that great with [name]Kamille[/name]…they’re much frillier. Somhow, if you like it, Oliviana might work better. Maybe it’s the connection to plants, and I think the O helps the othre letters fall into place.

[name]Arden[/name] - I love this name, but to me [name]Kamille[/name] is much more feminine.
[name]Viviana[/name] or [name]Vivianne[/name] - I like either with [name]Kamille[/name]. I like that with [name]Vivianne[/name] especially, you have an atypical but not completely out in left field spelling for both.

[name]Landry[/name] - too uni. If you go with uni [name]Arden[/name] is far preferable. [name]Landry[/name] always reminds me of Laundry, unfortunately.
[name]Marlowe[/name] - a nice name but if you go uni [name]Arden[/name] is the best.
[name]Lyla[/name] - I adore this with [name]Kamille[/name]. [name]Both[/name] have a double letter, both feminine, both floral-esque, both a less common spelling. [name]Kamille[/name] and [name]Lyla[/name], so great.
[name]Finley[/name] - go uni, go [name]Arden[/name] : D.
[name]Everly[/name] - go uni, go [name]Arden[/name] : D.

So my picks are [name]Lyla[/name], [name]Viviana[/name]/[name]Vivianne[/name], and [name]Arden[/name], in that order.

I agree with other posters, I wouldn’t sweat seeing these on boards.

Would Ardenne work, btw?

Liviana - This looks… weird to me. Not sure why.
[name]Arden[/name] - Cute.
[name]Viviana[/name] or [name]Vivianne[/name] - I would go with [name]Vivianne[/name]. It is spunkier.
[name]Landry[/name] - Too surnamey for my tastes.
[name]Marlowe[/name] - Not a fan.
[name]Lyla[/name] - Nice. Has a good feel. I think I like the [name]Lila[/name] spelling better, but either works as a solind name.
[name]Finley[/name] - Too boy for me.
[name]Everly[/name] - Like a lot.

Honestly, none of your list screams uber popular to me. The most would be [name]Everly[/name], especially since it has the celeb cred behind it. All are pretty usable, though some not my style. My favorites are [name]Vivianne[/name], [name]Lyla[/name], and [name]Everly[/name].

Thank you so much. You guys have been really helpful. I’ve posted on another name site and it seems everyone on that site likes very traditional names like [name]Jennifer[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], etc. and balked at my list. Some of you have give some great suggestions.
