I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] best. I’m not familiar with the other two, and they aren’t really my style.

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] by far!

This…

Agreed! [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is fab, and I really like her next to Rhylan and [name_m]Ruairi[/name_m]! Good luck!

I prefer [name_u]Darcey[/name_u]. I just can’t like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], and [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] is very masculine.

[name_u]Fallon[/name_u] by a million!

I like all 3 but [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] should be spelled [name_u]Darcy[/name_u].

I really love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] or [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (though I prefer [name_u]Darcy[/name_u])! I couldn’t choose which one because they’re both such darling names!

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] could go by [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] could go by Darc, or Ceci (or any variation). Which sounds most natural/right to you?

I think [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is a lovely combination, but the name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] by itself is a bit too similar to all the other [name_f]El[/name_f]- names out there.

I think [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (spelled this way) would be perfect.

I don’t see the attraction of [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] at all.

I dont want to shorten [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as I don’t like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] at all- I know a mummy who calls her LO [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] Belly which has put me off forever!!!

My DH and I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] but the two sets of grandparents had a hard time getting their heads around it and I’m not sure if three syllables before [name_f]Joy[/name_f] makes it too fussy.

[name_u]Fallon[/name_u] is DH suggestion, and I agree there are masculine undertones to it- but I am drawn to the strength of its sound.

And [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] is, as said above, such a darling name!!! This is so hard!.. Wish I was having twins (at least!)

Thank you all for input so far- keep it coming!

I would choose [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. The grandparents will get used to, or decide to have a nickname for her! (I personally love having family members call me nicknames I wouldn’t let anyone else call me!)
The 3-1 syllables of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is lovely. Flows nicely.
Other nicknames that are not [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] could be: [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Dee[/name_f], Elo, E.J., [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f], etc.
I would honestly keep it as just [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] though, because it is beautiful.

I don’t mind [name_u]Darcy[/name_u], but it is harder to picture on an adult, as well as it not being “timeless” like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].
I’m not a fan of [name_u]Fallon[/name_u], except for as a mn for a boy.

Good luck!

I voted for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f].

The thing for me about [name_u]Fallon[/name_u], which is very important, is that when paired with [name_f]Joy[/name_f]…it kinda sounds like [name_f]Fallen[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. Like, you used to be happy, but then plummeted into despair. Not the best pair, in my opinion, although I like [name_u]Fallon[/name_u].

[name_u]Darcey[/name_u] is nice, but I prefer [name_u]Darcy[/name_u]. I chose [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] over [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] because I love the balance of syllables for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f], I feel like it flows better. Good luck!

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] for absolute sure! Beautiful name.

[name_u]Fallon[/name_u] makes me think of [name_m]Jimmy[/name_m] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u], and I definitely wouldn’t want to name a baby after him. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is gorgeous, my favorite [name_m]French[/name_m] name, especially pronounced the [name_m]French[/name_m] way which is just divine - but the American/non-[name_m]French[/name_m] way is beautiful, too! [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] I don’t love, but if you were going to go for it, I’d spell it [name_u]Darcy[/name_u]. With an ‘e’ it sounds a bit made-up.

Elodie, definitely. I think it sounds absolutely gorgeous. I’m not a fan of the other two.

I voted for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] although I like [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] very much

[name_u]Fallon[/name_u] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] ( fan of the 2 middle names , here! )

[name_m]Feel[/name_m] the need to drop [name_f]Aisling[/name_f]/ [name_f]Aislinn[/name_f] x

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]! But [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] is nice too.

wow! can’t believe how much love there is out there for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]! Can anyone tell me what way the pronounciation varies then?
We are Irish and would say it [name_f]El[/name_f]-oh-dee but perhaps there is a different way??
[name_u]Fallon[/name_u] is not popular with the grandparents (so fussy lol!) and I am really understanding the concensus that the “E” needs to drop from [name_u]DarcEy[/name_u]…
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] or [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] for all those three-name lovers out there??!

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] or [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] are great ideas! I actually love [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] as it has a unique appeal to it that entices me. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] seems to be the poular choice so then [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] would be great as a middle. I still think that [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] should make the fn spot  X
