Help us find a middle name/nickname?

We are wavering back and forth between [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f] ([name_f]Lucie[/name_f]) and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] for LO#2 due in 3 months. Sometimes I feel as though [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] would be the clear winner, if only we could find a nickname we love as much as we love [name_f]Lucie[/name_f]. We are not fans of [name_f]Vanna[/name_f] or Savvy, try as we might.

I am wondering if any berries have ideas of middle names we could pair with [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] to help create some more obvious nickname options? Our last name is one syllable, rhymes with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] but starts with a C.

Thanks for helping me brainstorm!

[name_f]Susie[/name_f]? It sounds quite like [name_f]Lucie[/name_f], but bit of a stretch with [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. Or maybe Suvie. I’m assuming it’s the [name_f]Lu[/name_f]- sound you’re partial to.

I prefer Lucienne nn Lucie over Savannah, but both are lovely. What about Annie / Anna? Ava / Avi? Otherwise I’m drawing a blank.

Middle names that might incorporate into a new nickname… it’s a little more of a stretch but here are some thoughts:

Savannah Louise – nn Anna Lou? – like this one best, seems most intuitive.
Savannah Delphine (or another “D” name) – nn Sandi/ Andi? Sadie?
Savannah Maisie (or another “Ma-” name) – Sami?
Savannah Violet – Vivi?

Maybe the best of both worlds would be to use [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], nickname [name_f]Susie[/name_f] or [name_f]Sukie[/name_f]?

I love [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]! What about [name_f]Anna[/name_f] or [name_f]Annie[/name_f]?

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] could be sara

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_u]Drew[/name_u], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] could be called [name_u]Sandy[/name_u]

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] Could be nicknamed [name_m]Sean[/name_m] or Vae/Vay

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] or [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] could be called [name_f]Sally[/name_f]

[name_f]Annie[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Annie[/name_f] has a similar vibe to [name_f]Lucie[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] “[name_f]Jane[/name_f]” is great. There’s also [name_f]Ava[/name_f], or even [name_f]Sanne[/name_f]/[name_f]Sanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Zanna[/name_f], which is usually a nn for [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], but I think it could work here, too.

I feel like there are so many little Savannahs that I’d rather see a [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]! If you aren’t crazy about the name, what about [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_f]Luciana[/name_f], [name_f]Lucretia[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], or [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Luci[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucie[/name_f]? Alternatively, what about [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nn [name_f]Susie[/name_f]? Best wishes!

[name_f]Anna[/name_f]? [name_f]Annie[/name_f]? [name_f]Sukie[/name_f]? Nah-nah? :stuck_out_tongue:
