So hubby and I are really having a hard time coming up with a name for our boy, so we resorted to doing what we did to name our daughter which was given each other a list of our top 10 and then pick 5 names off each other’s lists to make a new top 10! We only have a top 9 this time as we both had the same name on our top 10 which was [name_m]Weston[/name_m], but I just don’t think either of us feels like it’s THE name despite it being in both our top 10s.
Middle name is either going to be [name_m]James[/name_m], [name_m]Colin[/name_m] or [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. What combos do you think work best with our top 9?

From your list I think all of these names fit great with a sister [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! The only ones I would personally avoid would be [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Elliott[/name_m] and [name_m]August[/name_m], SOLELY because I personally don’t love to closely matched names and if I were to have a 3rd kid I would feel boxed in to find a name to fit the pattern. This honestly might not be something you guys care about which is totally fine especially if one of these is a real contender to be the name, but it would just be something I would avoid for myself
With your names I would honestly pair most of them with [name_m]James[/name_m] for a middle name. The main reason is so it separates the syllables. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is 2 / 3 so it has a lovely flow to it and isn’t choppy. Most of your names have 2 syllables so [name_m]James[/name_m] gives it 2 / 1
With [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] I would go [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] [name_m]Colin[/name_m] and [name_m]Elliott[/name_m] I would go [name_m]Elliott[/name_m] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]
