[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] and [name_m]Walter[/name_m] are both lovely! GL:)

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

These are all great names. I ended up voting for [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] in the end. I think a ‘W’ name w/[name_m]Raymond[/name_m] plus an ‘R’ last name may be a bit difficult to say. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is charming too.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I agree with @Michellem, a name starting with W followed by [name_m]Raymond[/name_m] could be difficult to pronounce. I think it was most noticable with [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Raymond[/name_m], as I wanted to say [name_m]William[/name_m] Waymond. I cant say how difficult it would be with the surname, as it’s hard to tell with just the first letter. I think avoiding W names might be best, as much as I like [name_m]William[/name_m].

I think [name_m]Walter[/name_m] is a great choice! I don’t think it’s hard to say with the R name at all.

They’re all good options, but I voted for [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]. [name_m]William[/name_m] is so popular right now, and I find [name_m]Walter[/name_m] to be a bit stuffy. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] almost got my vote, but I think it would make the whole name a bit “r” heavy and I personally prefer [name_m]Wesley[/name_m].

I love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Walter[/name_m] but I voted for [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] because I’m not sure if the r ending would run into [name_m]Raymond[/name_m] and your last name.

[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is so handsome! Then [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. All great names really!! You have good taste. I love [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Raymond[/name_m].

Thanks everyone! We don’t want to tell family and friends our shortlist, so it’s great to get some feedback!

This was my exact thinking. You will more often be saying/reading the First name + Last name, rather than the full name including the middle. So I thought a first name ending with “r” might run into the “r” of your last name.

I love [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]! As long as you like the inevitable nickname [name_m]Wes[/name_m].

Ditto to all this! So I voted [name_m]Wesley[/name_m].
If you planned on calling [name_m]Walter[/name_m] “[name_m]Walt[/name_m]” the majority of the time it wouldn’t run together with your last name.
