Help with a name for a character?

Hey everyone,

I need some help with naming a character. Character is a six year old girl, pretty much the stereotype (you know, favorite color is bright pink, obsessed with princesses and fairies, etc.) and I am deciding between two names: [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. Not that it matters but [name_f]Evie[/name_f] would be pronounced ev-ee not ee-vee.

I personally prefer [name_f]Evie[/name_f] for the character. I feel that it fits the character description much better :slight_smile:

I vote [name_f]Evie[/name_f]! I’d say [name_f]Evy[/name_f] like ehv-ee, while [name_f]Evie[/name_f] would be ee-vee to me, if that spelling appeals to you too.

Maybe spell it [name_f]Evi[/name_f] if you don’t have any other way to show the pronunciation?

Nobody has said [name_f]Esme[/name_f] here, but I think [name_f]Esme[/name_f] would work well! [name_f]Esme[/name_f] sort of makes me think of a princess. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] would also work, but [name_f]Eve[/name_f] would be beautiful.
