We have two daughters, [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Ainsley[/name] and [name]Marin[/name] [name]Avery[/name], and are expecting our third baby in [name]August[/name]. We do not know the gender and have had a boy name picked out since our first daughter was born. Our boy name is [name]Reade[/name] [name]Carter[/name]. HOWEVER, finding a girl name in the same vein as the others is proving to be a challenge! A few we are considering:
No middle name yet, but would like to stick with one that begins with an “A.” At this point, the middle name is not really our focus. Having the name “[name]Jennifer[/name]” like so many others born in the 1970s, I want my children to have names that are unusual but not weird or trying too hard. Any suggestions?
[name]Regan[/name] is my favorite with big sisters [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Marin[/name], but I also think [name]Teagan[/name] is so sweet!
For a middle name, try [name]Amy[/name], [name]Ashley[/name], [name]Aubrey[/name], or [name]Audrey[/name]! I love [name]Regan[/name] [name]Audrey[/name]!
I like both [name]Harper[/name] and [name]Emery[/name] with [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Marin[/name], though I think [name]Harper[/name] could skyrocket. [name]Piper[/name] doesn’t seem as substantial as [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Marin[/name] for some reason.
My faves with sisters [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Marin[/name]: [name]Harper[/name] [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Sidney[/name] [name]Aislinn[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Adair[/name], and [name]Ellery[/name] [name]Anwen[/name].
I think [name]Harper[/name] and [name]Emery[/name] work well with [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Marin[/name]. My favorite combo would be [name]Harper[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] or [name]Harper[/name] [name]Amelia[/name].
Since you like [name]Reade[/name] for a boy how about Reedie for a girl? I have a niece named Reedie [name]Louella[/name] & when my sister in law was pregnant & said that is what she had decided on I had my doubts (although I never told her) but little Reedie is 11 months old now & it fits her perfectly.
Thanks a million for all of the great replies! I think we are probably going to go with [name]Emery[/name], mostly because it goes so well with [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Marin[/name], but also because it’s the only one upon which DH and I agree. ; ) I will have to compromise with him on a middle name that I don’t love, but am willing to do it at this point to find the perfect first name for a girl. Loved the idea of going with [name]Reade[/name] for a girl or a boy, but DH couldn’t wrap his head around it. Thank you again for all of the thoughtful input!
