Okay, we have about 20 days until our little man is born and we are stuck thinking about a name. My other two son’s names are [name_m]Zavier[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Izaac[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. I want something that goes well with both of them. We would like to keep a Z in the name (either first or middle). Possible middle name would be Nicolaz ([name_m]Nicolas[/name_m]). Last name is 5 letters and starts with a G. My boys are all mixed between [name_m]German[/name_m], [name_f]Indian[/name_f], Mexican and African American. So I’m open to anything that sounds like a nice strong name.
Some of the ones we have thought about are [name_u]Alijah[/name_u] and [name_m]Eliaz[/name_m].
I just can’t decide on one that sticks for more than a few weeks.
I think [name_m]Eliaz[/name_m] would fit perfectly with [name_m]Zavier[/name_m] and [name_m]Izaac[/name_m], since it obviously shares the Z. But maybe [name_m]Eliaz[/name_m] Nicolaz is a bit much? If you like [name_m]German[/name_m] names, you could use the spelling [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] (if I remember correctly that’s how the Germans spell it) or (if you’re feeling exotic ;)) you could even go with the Dutch version of [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] which is [name_m]Nicholaas[/name_m]. Also you could consider some other names that share the Z sound, like [name_m]Zander[/name_m] or [name_m]Zane[/name_m].
Personally, I do believe that [name_m]Eliaz[/name_m] [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] would fit the best with [name_m]Zavier[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Izaac[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. Good luck , hope I helped you.
I also Like [name_m]Eliaz[/name_m]. Hazing two /Z/ starting names could be a mouthful for you. [name_m]How[/name_m] about Aziah (“yahweh is my strength”) or changing the /s/ to a /z/ in a name like [name_m]Josiah[/name_m] or [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]. I’m sure there are many other names that this could work for.
I like [name_m]Zander[/name_m] and [name_m]Zane[/name_m] but have friends/family with boys named that already. I love the name [name_m]Eliaz[/name_m], but everytime I say it I pronounce it differently or have to think before I say it. Originally it was [name_u]Elias[/name_u], but I changed the s to a z.
