[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all. My husband has a very (imo) difficult last name when it comes to pairing with names. I won’t spell it correctly as it’s also unique but phonetically it would be gran-i-ker (soft i sound not like eye).
Anyway I had my favorite girl’s name picked out but my husband has refused, I was hoping you guys could vet my list and also add some names you do like that would go with the last name. Please no names like [name_u]Riley[/name_u], Brynleigh, [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]…etc. Our son’s name is [name_u]Finn[/name_u] if that would help your decisions also. Thank you so much in advance!
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] (fav name husband rejected)
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u](rhymes too much)
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
I agree that [name_u]Harper[/name_u] rhymes too much (though I love the name)! I’m also personally not a big fan of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but I think it sounds fine with your last name.
Funnily enough out of those [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is my favorite after [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. I think it sounds lovely with our last name I just wasn’t sure if it sounded too strong. I also do love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], that’s one I hadn’t considered before. [name_u]Harper[/name_u] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are definitely too “er” sounding, I just love the names so much I had to put them on the list. So far at the top would be the name [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] Lastname to honor my late grandmother who passed away the day after I had my son. Thank you so much, I’m still open to more names if anyone has any suggestions.
