[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] has been moving up my list as a lot of my other favorites get too popular or vetoed by husband. I like the associations with [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] Tubman, [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_m]Beecher[/name_m] [name_m]Stowe[/name_m], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] the Spy, and nickname [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]. It seems to have great vintage appeal and a nice sound, so I wonder why it’s outside the top 1000 in the U.S. Is it all because of the word “hairy”? What are your thoughts on the name?
Which leads to question #2, [name_m]Will[/name_m] a [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] get teased because of her name? Our last name also has the word “gas” in it. Is that too much to inflict on an elementary school girl, or am I overthinking it?
And then the fun part, what middle name suggestions do you have for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]? I’m looking for something light and feminine to balance the more serious [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]. I came up with [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Willa[/name_f], but would love more ideas. Our last name is similar to G@ston, so no A or O names.
