Due in 9 weeks w/2nd boy. Hubby and I are struggling on a name. Our first son is [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and we call him [name_u]Sam[/name_u] or [name_u]Sammy[/name_u] (sometimes). We like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and would likely use the nn [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]. Also thinking of just using [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]. I think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] sound nice together and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] also go together. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] is a family name. However, getting feedback about it being an old man/nerdy name. Also like [name_m]Liam[/name_m] but afraid it’s too popular. Any suggestions. Would like a strong, somewhat unique name. Really want to use [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] for the middle name as it is my maiden name. Also no B names as there are already several in our extended family. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

I don’t think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] nn [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] is an old man name – and even if it were, it’s absolutely wonderful. So handsome and absolutely perfect. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is gorgeous.
I love the combo of [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]! [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] are great brothers!
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] are great together! I don’t get the old man comments. But, when I had my son, [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], I got some of those same comments.

(Consequently, [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u] is also on my list, and I always thought [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] would make a smashing brother duo!) I think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is utter perfection. I’ve always preferred just Ev to [name_u]Ever[/name_u] or [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] (both of which are nice, just not my thing), but [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] work really well together. I think [name_u]Everett[/name_u]'s pretty much perfection, but if you’re still looking for ideas, what about:
