I am pregnant with our third child, and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is a top choice of ours if it’s a boy. However, my husband says he would probably want to call him [name_m]Hank[/name_m]-which was our deceased dog’s name. Any thoughts on whether this is totally weird or acceptable? (We like the name on it’s own and wouldn’t be naming it after the dog either.)

Haha… my first thought was “We named the dog [name_u]Indiana[/name_u]” but I have movie quotes on the brain today. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_m]Hank[/name_m] and I think if you can get over it then everyone else will.

Personally, I wouldn’t ever be able to call my future daughter [name_u]Abby[/name_u] because it was my cat’s name. If you feel comfortable go for it.
I love [name_m]Henry[/name_m] nn [name_m]Hank[/name_m] so much. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] nn [name_m]Harry[/name_m] would also work too.
If you’re comfortable calling the child that then it’s fine!
