I would think [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] or Oni before [name_f]Marnie[/name_f].

Although [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] feels more intuitive I think [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] still works.

I think it might seem like a stretch in the US, but not the UK or Australia, due to the accent. I think it makes sense.

I think it works. In all honesty though, I think [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] is an awful name and it would be a shame to spoil such a lovely name as [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] with it as a nickname.
