hispanic names for baby girl

Hello, all! [name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for a little advice. I’m all set on boys names but am so indecisive with girls names! My firstborn is [name_m]Ricardo[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] (goes by [name_m]Xavi[/name_m], pronounced HA-vee). We need names that are easy in English and Spanish. I like nicknames, so no worries about that. So far we’ve agreed on [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] but I’m worried about its popularity. I also love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] but they got nixed by the mister. Other possibilities in the back of my mind would be [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f], or [name_f]Lucia[/name_f].

Thoughts anyone??

I like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] best of your alternate choices. You might also consider [name_f]Inez[/name_f] or [name_f]Ines[/name_f]. It seems to be rising in popularity but is obviously not common. Since you like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Elena[/name_f] would be another option. I also like [name_f]Valeria[/name_f], [name_f]Blanca[/name_f] and [name_f]Gabriela[/name_f].

My only worry about [name_f]Inez[/name_f] is the multiple pronunciations. I already have to deal with that with [name_m]Xavi[/name_m]'s name. I like [name_f]Elena[/name_f], but my husband nixed it too. Maybe I need to ask again lol.

My first thought was [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] when reading your post. I love:

[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]

I love all your choices, you really can’t go wrong with them. [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] does have multiple pronunciations too, if you’re worried about that.
Maybe you like: [name_f]Camila[/name_f], [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], [name_f]Nayara[/name_f], [name_f]Natalia[/name_f], [name_f]Ariela[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Araceli[/name_f], [name_f]Silvia[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Catalina[/name_f], [name_f]Florina[/name_f], [name_f]Maia[/name_f], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] / [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], [name_f]Mireya[/name_f]…

Odd question, but how else could [name_f]Inez[/name_f] be pronounced? I suppose with an E or I sound at the start, but those sound so close to me I wouldnt think twice about getting both.

I guess I was thinking Ee-Ness vs Eye-nez. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not my fav for a first name. Although I’m considering it for a middle name. I’m considering [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]…maybe [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Inez[/name_f]?
Also, [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Digna[/name_f] ([name_f]Digna[/name_f] is my mom’s name and was my great grandmother’s name).
My third choice right now is [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]…

Your list is lovely, I love [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Mia[/name_f]!

What about:
[name_f]Alba[/name_f]
[name_f]Alma[/name_f]
[name_f]Amalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Amaya[/name_f]

[name_f]Camila[/name_f]
[name_f]Carlota[/name_f]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Flor[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Laia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lia[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]

[name_f]Noa[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
