Holden and Eden?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that [name_m]Holden[/name_m] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] sound too alike because of the the -en at the end of the names?

Yes, I think they are too similar for siblings. I love [name_u]Eden[/name_u] so might choose a different name for [name_m]Holden[/name_m].

[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
[name_m]Heath[/name_m]
[name_m]Holt[/name_m]

I happen to have a 7-year-old named [name_u]Eden[/name_u] who is in “crush” with a boy named [name_m]Holden[/name_m]. I adore his mom, so I’ve daydreamed about how cute their names could look on invitations one day, but for sibs I think they’re too similar and matchy. Poor [name_u]Eden[/name_u] would have no letters unique to her own name. But then again, sometimes names that sound bad in theory end up being cute and fun in real life. Each to her own.

I agree, the -den ending just makes them a tad too match. I personally like [name_m]Holden[/name_m] slightly better than [name_u]Eden[/name_u] (I’m a [name_m]Salinger[/name_m] fan), but I think that [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is a nice alternative to [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and [name_m]Holden[/name_m] & [name_f]Eve[/name_f] are gorgeous together.
