[name_m]Hi[/name_m], maybe I’m overthinking this. But in light of recent events overseas, I’m worried my daughters name sounds similar to T@lib@n. It never struck me before. So if you heard the name [name_f]Tala[/name_f] (tal like pal) would that even occur to you or am I crazy??
i see what you mean but i would never make that connection on my own. i think it’s totally fine

Now that you mention it, I do see the connection but it’s not big and I never would have thought of it had you not brought it up. I think [name_f]Tala[/name_f] is totally fine and a beautiful name!

I see what but it’s not like your outright naming her that & there are people named [name_u]Tali[/name_u] (how it’s spelled) all the time & no-one’s ever made the connection, so [name_f]Tala[/name_f] should be fine.

I wouldn’t have made the connection. I know an [name_f]Isis[/name_f] and the connection to the terrorist group doesn’t cross my mind there either.
