We are having a little girl. My husband loves the name “[name_f]Faye[/name_f]”, and it is one of the only names we agree upon. It’s starting to grow on me but I would love some HONEST opinions. Or, if you don’t like it…another suggestion perhaps? She will be joining her older brothers [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. The only other name I care for right now is “[name_f]Jane[/name_f]”. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a preference between the two?
Also if you have a middle name suggestion. I would love to pass on [name_f]Marie[/name_f] as it is the mn of myself, my mom and my husband’s mom. But I feel like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] sounds like “Famery”…like a made up silly word. Am I overthinking this?
Thanks all!
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is an underused classic that will serve her well.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is great, but [name_f]Jane[/name_f] goes better with [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] imo.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is short and sweet name. I love that it means fairy. It’s also my nickname, but I spell it without the E.
I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f]! I only know one little girl with the name (I know a few women with it in the middle but not as a first name) and she is an absolutely peach!
I think it’s nice with [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m], they all feel old fashioned and familiar without being too common.
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] wouldn’t be my choice in the middle, but if you feel strongly about passing the name on it honestly sounds fine together.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is sweet and sparky!
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] sounds fine.
I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. It’s an old favorite of mine.
I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f]! It’s sweet, floaty and feminine
I think [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is lovely!
I’m biased because [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is my daughter’s name but I adore it. I love that it’s a little unexpected but still sweet and timeless, and I also love that it means fairy. I get compliments on her name all the time!
We also had a hard time with middle names because it’s short so it needs something a little longer to offset it. We chose [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Marie[/name_f] works since it’s two syllables.
I looooove [name_f]Faye[/name_f]! It’s my top girl name!
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] works, I like how it honours both sides of the family
