I’ve been liking [name_f]Adelisa[/name_f] [name_f]Dannielle[/name_f] on a girl recently. I’ll let the NNs come naturally. I want brutal honesty, nothing less!
I think both are pretty names, but I don’t love the way it flows. I think it’s something about the repeated d- sound that makes it feel choppy, because [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] [name_f]Dannielle[/name_f] flows fine to me. I don’t think it’s perfect but it’s not bad.
Bumping this!
I love this names separately, but they don’t flow together because of the [name_m]Ad[/name_m]/Da beginnings
My first instinct is that I’ve never heard of this name and I don’t know how to go about pronouncing it. You could put the emphasis on any number of places here, so I think people would struggle with pronunciation. I’m not a fan of the name personally, it sounds like a name mashup that doesn’t flow well to me (whichever way I try to pronounce it), similar to [name_f]Renesmee[/name_f] (of [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] fame).
I think it sounds fine, not too repetitive. I think it’s because Adelisa is long, so “ad” and “da” have more sounds between them.
Adelisa [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] is pretty
I think it flows fine—a little bit chunky, but not hard to say. [name_f]Adelisa[/name_f] is pretty and has lots of great nickname options! [name_f]My[/name_f] only nitpick would be the spelling of [name_f]Dannielle[/name_f]—I’d use the traditional [name_f]Danielle[/name_f].
I changed the title of the thread slightly. Anyways, [name_f]Adelisa[/name_f] [name_f]Dannielle[/name_f] flows fine. I just prefer it as [name_f]Adeliza[/name_f] [name_f]Danielle[/name_f].
I find the two “n” in [name_f]Dannielle[/name_f] pretty distracting, but otherwise I like the combo! I would not have noticed the [name_m]Ad[/name_m]/Da thing and now that it’s been pointed out it still doesn’t bother me. I like that [name_f]Adelisa[/name_f] is not [name_f]Adelina[/name_f], only because it feels a little bit fresher with all of the [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]/Adelynn names that are on trend right now.
Well…
I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and many [name_f]Ada[/name_f] names ([name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_u]Adair[/name_u], etc.), but am not keen on [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] names. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and there were so many Lisas.
While I love certain feminizations, [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] is not one I find appealing.
Sorry! If it were me, I’d veer more toward [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Danae[/name_f] or something like that.
I’ve never heard of [name_f]Adelisa[/name_f] before, but I think it’s prettt and would use [name_f]Adele[/name_f] or [name_f]Addie[/name_f] as a nickname? I’m not a fan of [name_f]Dannielle[/name_f] spelled with two N’s and would choose regular [name_f]Danielle[/name_f].
