Thanks so much!!!
I like [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] myself! I also like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] and [name_u]Brighton[/name_u] from your list but I wouldn’t necessarily use them. I think [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] is a little odd, honestly, and I feel like [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] and [name_u]Adair[/name_u] are just asking to be mispronounced.
I like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] (more so for a boy), [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_u]Adair[/name_u], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]. I looove [name_f]Elle[/name_f] and [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] the most.
I don’t care for the rest, sorry. [name_u]Brighton[/name_u] is all seaside town to me and [name_m]Saxon[/name_m] is weird as a name, it just reminds me of Anglo-[name_m]Saxon[/name_m] which is what I was taught a lot about growing up. [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] is ok.
[name_u]Monroe[/name_u] to me is still quite masculine. I know it’s kind of trendy on girls right now but I cannot see it on a girl and it’s not my style at all.
I can see the appeal of [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]. I don’t particularly feel any way about it. It’s not a name I would use, but there’s nothing wrong with it besides the risk of mispronunciation (which isn’t a concern to me but it might be to you).
[name_u]Channing[/name_u] is really cute. There’s Mr. [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] with masculinizes the name a little bit but honestly it SOUNDS feminine to me so I don’t mind that.
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] is simple and effective. I can’t make my mind up on it, though. Some times I like it, other times I feel it’s just a bit too plain or boring. But it’s a solid name.
[name_u]Adair[/name_u] is actually on my boys list but I think it’s one of those true unisex names and I like it on a girl as well. It’s got some attitude to it. Nice sounds, easy to pronounce and spell.
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] is very pretty and definitely an attractive name. On the contrary to a previous poster, I think it’s very intuitive to pronounce. I don’t mind its popularity.
[name_m]Saxon[/name_m] is very masculine to me. I like the sound theoretically, but it’s just not a girl’s name to me.
[name_u]Brighton[/name_u] is alright. It’s kinda like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] in that I don’t care for it one way or another. I’d say it sounds masculine to me but I think if I met a female [name_u]Brighton[/name_u] that could change it.
I really like [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]. It’s an underrated name. The f in the middle of a name isn’t super common and gives it some zest. I think it’s a very memorable name.
My favorites as girl names are [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] and [name_u]Adair[/name_u].
My favourites are [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] and [name_f]Elle[/name_f] :). [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] works well for a girl but it feels a little dated to me.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] and [name_u]Monroe[/name_u].
My honest opinions:
[name_u]Monroe[/name_u] - Too [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] and reminds me of the piercing. It has a “trying too hard” vibe to me. I think it’d be a really cool choice for a boy though (I love the idea of naming boys after famous women).
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] - This one is cute but I can’t get myself to like it for some reason. I think the nickname [name_u]Bell[/name_u] would be cute though.
[name_u]Channing[/name_u] - I strongly dislike it. It just reminds me of the actor ([name_u]Tatum[/name_u]). I could see it as a boy’s name but it doesn’t make sense at all to me as a girl’s name.
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] - I like this. I think it’s very classy, though a bit short.
[name_u]Adair[/name_u] - Interesting. Hmm. No strong opinion. It sounds like “a dare” to me. I’d prefer [name_u]Blair[/name_u] or [name_f]Adele[/name_f] (though I’d understand not wanting to use a name so strongly tied to a celebrity).
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name! My favorite on your list by far.
[name_u]Brighton[/name_u] - I actually know a little girl named [name_u]Brighton[/name_u]! She goes by “Brighty” a lot of the time. At first I thought it was a weird choice but it’s grown on me a lot, and now I really like it!
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] - This one is fine but makes me think of yellow rice. It’s not a bad name, it just doesn’t feel like a real life person’s name to me. I think it could be pulled off by the right person, though.
[name_u]Monroe[/name_u]: [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] is very much a strong, male, surname in my mind. I think it’s a bit too trendy in the whole “surname/boys name” aspect (that’s just my opinion)
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]: [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] has been a long time name crush of mine. Personally I see it working a bit better on a boy but that may be because of the character [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] on The 100.
[name_u]Channing[/name_u]: See [name_u]Monroe[/name_u]. Also, I always feel compelled to add “[name_u]Tatum[/name_u]” after saying [name_u]Channing[/name_u].
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]: I think [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is one of those beautifully simple and elegant names that you can never go wrong with.
[name_u]Adair[/name_u]: It seems a bit… mean? I also can only hear “a dare”.
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]: [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] is very pretty! I think [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is nice too.
[name_u]Brighton[/name_u]: I love how bright and happy this name feels but I would probably prefer it as a middle name.
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f]: It’s a little too out-there for my personal taste but it is cute. I just wonder about a grown woman writing “[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] _____” on a job or college application (that aspect is very important to me) but I think it could work.
[name_u]Monroe[/name_u] - while it’s not really my style, I do see the appeal of this name. I do think it might be slightly masculine to me though (I love more masculine sounding names on girls usually, so that’s not an issue to me!)
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]- I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]. I much prefer it on a boy, but I think it’s a very unisex name and would also be sweet on a little girl. I really like the nn [name_f]Belle[/name_f], too.
[name_u]Channing[/name_u] - reminds me of [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] (not a bad thing) but I have seen parents use it on their little girls. I think it could be very sweet!
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] - I love love [name_f]Elle[/name_f]. It’s so simple, sweet, and pretty. I personally prefer it as a nn for a longer name, but it could definitely work just as nicely as a full name ([name_f]Elle[/name_f] Woods comes to mind) this is probably my favorite on your list.
[name_u]Adair[/name_u] - a cute name. Its nms, but I think I’d love to meet a little girl with this name.
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] - this name is so adorable and sweet, I love it. I also love all of the possible nicknames!
[name_u]Brighton[/name_u] - another name I love, but prefer on a boy. However, I have see more girls with this name (also actress [name_u]Brighton[/name_u] Sharbino!), and I think its absolutely beautiful.
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f]- this could potentially be a cute name. It’s not really my style, but it is very spunky, and I agree with a pp that it’s definitely memorable!
