With [name_f]Maya[/name_f] as the middle, I would rule out [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f].
[name_f]Evalyn[/name_f] works really well with your middke name choice, but I’m feeling drawn to [name_f]Harriett[/name_f] because it seems unexpected but still works. Maybe take both names into the delivery room with you and then decide after you meet her which is the best fit.
I love [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and think [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f] works well, so that’s my pick. [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] is a strong and feminine name without being fussy and has lots of nn options, though works perfectly well without a nn as well. I’ve never been a fan of [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - generally not keen on ‘lyn’ ending names and I like lots of other [name_f]Eve[/name_f] names better. [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] is just a bit over the top for my taste.
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f] would be my pick. I actually considered [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] when I was pregnant with my daughter but I decided I like “just [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]” more…The girl ended up being called [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f].
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f]! I was going to call my daughter [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and only didn’t because her last name starts with T and it made me trip on her name. [name_f]Remember[/name_f] when naming your baby that they’re only baby-babies for a short time. It’s hard to look at a newborn and pick [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] but it’s a name for 99% of her life! I think you’ve got this with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] as possibilities too, but other old lady names include [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Gloria[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], Dephine, [name_f]Eunice[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].
I personally would rule out [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] I just don’t think it has a nice sound. I really like [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]. I have friends named both of them but they do both always shorten their names to [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] so I’m not sure how you feel about that.
Pretty, pretty, and pretty! These are names on my list too.
I love the elegance of [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], but it has the possibility of [name_m]Henri[/name_m]! It’s unique, but I think it would suit a defiant little girl.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] has a similar nicknaming possibilities, and it’s unfortunate that it’s becoming a little more mainstream. Still, I’ll never tire of [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. So beautiful.
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] has been on my list since I was 8. Like [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] could go by [name_u]Harri[/name_u], but it’s cute by itself too! [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] may have the advantage here, as it has the defiant quality of [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] and it’s less common than [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
If I had to pick, Hariett would be the one! Simply perfect
I’m really drawn to [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], it feels both the most strong and feminine out of your options. I love [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] for a nn but I like how it also carries the option of nns [name_m]Henri[/name_m] and [name_f]Etta[/name_f], for differently tempered girls. [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] are both just so… boring to me, nothing about them jumps out. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh, there is nothing wrong with them but to me personally they just don’t appeal. I suppose they flow better with [name_f]Maya[/name_f] in a traditional sense, but imo [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f] is just such a cool and unexpected combo!
