[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is really sweet and down to earth to me, i envision a little girl with her nose in a book. Quiet, shy and more reserved.
Overall lovely but too simple and popular for me to use, but on that note the most important thing is that you pick a name that you love!

The one I know is very creative, compassionate, down to earth. [name_f]Sassy[/name_f], smart, sweet.

I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] because I think she has more depth. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is cute though, and I don’t think it’s bad at all! Downside – popularity. I teach at a school with only 85 and kids; three are named [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and two of those go by [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is sleek and sweet, holds a nice meaning, feels versatile and solid

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] has massively grown on me she’s so sweet, delicate, pretty and feels very classic. I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] ages well and would suit a range of personalities.

I do prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] just because I prefer the Hollywood glamour behind the name.

I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] but I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] because I think of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] as permanently young - and you can use [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] (or Phia) for [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] anyway.

I picture a lovely, sweet, well-behaved child and then a chic and sophisticated adult. Since previous posters mentioned [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] as well, I gotta say while I like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], I actually slightly prefer [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].

I adore it.

I will always love [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] no matter how popular she gets. It’s my sister’s name and it fits her so well: shy, sweet, bookish, funny, musical, elfin.

Wayyyyyyy too overused in my opinion. I’ve met more Sophie’s than Sophia’s but both are very common. It feels too nicknamey in my opinion. A pleasant name, but not one I can see on anyone older than a teenager. It’s pleasant, but quite boring and unsurprising. Sorry
