Honest thoughts on the name Amarice

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], guys. It’s been a while since I’ve posted in the forum. But I was in the mood to make up some name combos today! =) Ok, first off I am no where near having a baby anytime soon but that doesn’t mean I can’t think of some potential baby names for the future.

So I’ve been going back and forth with the name Amarice, I pronounce it like am-uh-reese. Now truthfully I first heard of the name from a character in the TV show [name_f]Xena[/name_f]: Warrior [name_f]Princess[/name_f] I use to be a huge fan and ever since then it’s always been in the back of my mind as a possible name for a girl. I just wanted to get the opinions of some of you fabulous berries. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s doable as a name or does it sound made up?

Since there are no websites that have it as a possible name choice it’s very hard to kind of find what the meaning of it is. But I read one comment on some site that says Amarice is from the core name [name_f]Amaris[/name_f] and that it’s meaning is God’s [name_f]Promise[/name_f].

Also if you think it could work as a name give me some middle name options. I love the name but I’m having so much difficulty thinking of potential middle names. The only one that I could come up with that I think flows nicely is Amarice [name_f]Praise[/name_f]. It’s a little religious which I don’t mind but I would love to hear some other possible middle name options that aren’t as religious.

Please and thank you! =)

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I realize this posting is a little dated, but my 6 yr old daughter’s name is Amarice [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. We had never watched [name_f]Xena[/name_f], nor did we realize the connection until just after she was born and her aunt googled the name. We pronounce it “[name_m]Ah[/name_m]-ma-reece”. I find it to be a beautifully unique name. Her nickname is Reesy.

Absolutely beautiful
