[name_m]How[/name_m] would you react to meeting a boy [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]?
Would you pick on him because of his name? Be honest.
What can you see a male [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] doing as a profession?
[name_m]Say[/name_m] you wanted to use [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on your son, how would your parents/family/friends react? Would you care?
This is one of my most favorite names, maybe even my favorite. I think if I ever got the chance to have a baby and name it whatever I want, I would choose [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]. I can not see it on a girl. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I know an [name_f]Aubreigh[/name_f]. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] seems ALL masculine to me. I love the names that were “originally a boy names and got taken over by a girl” type style - including [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_u]Madison[/name_u], [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], [name_u]Loren[/name_u], [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], [name_u]Shelby[/name_u], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] ect.
I actually have a second cousin named [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]-he is about sixteen, and I like the name on him but I feel like the name has a fairly feminine feel on the whole, which is not necessarily a bad thing…it just has to be on the right individual. If the parents and the kid can own the name, then go for it!
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on a boy, thoughts? I like it- soft and gentle, yet perfectly wearable.
[name_m]How[/name_m] would you react to meeting a boy [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]? - I would be quite excited.
Would you pick on him because of his name? Be honest. - No, but [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is not a common name in Australia (I have never met or heard of an [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], boy or girl), so it might have a different image to what it would have in the UK or US.
What can you see a male [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] doing as a profession? - I can see [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] doing anything: artist, musician, doctor, scientist, chef, shop owner, car dealer, banker, etc.
[name_m]Say[/name_m] you wanted to use [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on your son, how would your parents/family/friends react? Would you care?
[name_f]My[/name_f] parents would probably like / love it (we all love the song [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], by Bread), as they love the names [name_u]Auden[/name_u] and [name_u]August[/name_u]. Some of my extended family would hate it, but they don’t like any names beyond extremely common, traditional, mostly dated names (they think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] are exotic and out there). Some of them would really like it though. [name_f]My[/name_f] friends would probably like it, but some of them wouldn’t.

I really don’t care what anyone else says, unless it is pointing out something negative and obvious, like it rhyming with a particular word, etc.
I love it, on a boy it would be more alive, vivid, fresh.
I recently meet a boy named [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on a bus from [name_f]Florida[/name_f] going to NY. He is so nice and we hit it off great, we are really good friends.
No. I don’t judge someone based on their appearance or ideals or whatever, let alone a name. There is some names I don’t like but that doesn’t mean I should pick on someone.
Honestly, a lawyer. I picture him working in the office.
They would react by saying its a girl name and I would backfire with my knowledge and say it’s not. But I know my family and they would forget about it and come to love the name.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on a boy, thoughts? I am personally not too fond of [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] for either gender.
[name_m]How[/name_m] would you react to meeting a boy [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]? As I react to meeting anyone, politely introduce myself. I would most likely come here later in the day and announce I met a male [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u].
Would you pick on him because of his name? Be honest. Definitely not, nor would I have done so when I was a child or teen.
What can you see a male [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] doing as a profession? Anything he wanted to be.
[name_m]Say[/name_m] you wanted to use [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on your son, how would your parents/family/friends react? Would you care? [name_f]My[/name_f] family would be respectful. Most of my friends would be respectful also, a few might raise their eyebrows. I wouldn’t care what they thought.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is not my style for either gender, however I don’t see anything wrong with naming a boy [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]. If you love it then you should use it.
I picture [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] to be a musician or a financial advisor, that’s just what I picture. But as with anyone they can be whatever they want to be.
1)*[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]on a boy to me is like meeting a boy [name_u]Ashley[/name_u]. Since [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is more popular now.
2)Iwould react with out much opinion. I normally don’t judge already named babies unless it’s a truly harmful name.
3) No, I was bullied for my name and I would never subject anyone to that.
4) I see a male[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]*doing things like management and owing thirst own business as a profession. A man who is well rounded.
5) Since my mom wanted me to use [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on a daughter (hubby would never agree) we’d more or less have a disagreement but if that was the name my husband and I loved then screw them.
[name_f]My[/name_f] advice is if nothing else feels right then your family will get used to it. It might take some time but they won’t see your little guy as anything else.
Agree with all of the above. It might raise a few eyebrows but who cares? [name_f]Remember[/name_f] when [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] were predominantly male names? Your family would/will adjust to it. And if they don’t, it’s their problem, not yours or your son’s.
