I have a [name_m]Ben[/name_m] and [name_m]Gary[/name_m] in my family, both of whom have passed away and were very important in my wife and I’s lives. I’m just curious if the berries have any ideas as to how we could honour either of these men if we had a daughter. I don’t mind if it’s a bit stretchy, I’m just struggling to think of feminine forms of [name_m]Gary[/name_m] or [name_m]Ben[/name_m] (besides maybe Benjamina).
what about [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] (I like this on a girl) and [name_f]Grace[/name_f]? [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a little stretchy, but it could work
[name_m]Grady[/name_m]
[name_f]Garance[/name_f]
[name_f]Gardenia[/name_f]
[name_m]Garnet[/name_m]
[name_m]Garland[/name_m]
Garsey
[name_m]Cary[/name_m]
[name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f]Hilary[/name_f]
[name_f]Belen[/name_f]
[name_m]Beren[/name_m]
[name_f]Branwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Briallen[/name_f]
[name_m]Brycen[/name_m]
[name_f]Iben[/name_f]
Albena
[name_m]Bentley[/name_m]
[name_f]Robena[/name_f]
[name_f]Verbena[/name_f]
[name_m]Gary[/name_m] – maybe [name_m]Gray[/name_m], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Clary[/name_f], [name_m]Calgary[/name_m], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Gracie[/name_f], or [name_f]Aryana[/name_f]?
[name_m]Ben[/name_m] – [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f], [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f], [name_f]Bethan[/name_f], or [name_m]Berlin[/name_m]?
[name_m]Gray[/name_m] as a middle name is getting more popular for girls now. That could easily honor a [name_m]Gary[/name_m].
I know a couple families who have used Bennett/Bennet (particularly because of Pride & Prejudice), so maybe that… or [name_f]Benedikte[/name_f]? There was a berry on here years ago who used [name_f]Benedikte[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bennie[/name_f] and I always thought that was lovely. I think [name_f]Benna[/name_f] or [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] could easily work to honor a [name_m]Ben[/name_m], too! [name_m]Or[/name_m] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]?
For [name_m]Gary[/name_m], maybe [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Gratia[/name_f], just [name_m]Gray[/name_m], or I suppose maybe [name_m]Calgary[/name_m] if you want a place name?
Good luck!
Maybe [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]? Has the G and “ee” sound in it from [name_m]Gary[/name_m] and the e and n from [name_m]Ben[/name_m].

[name_f]Jen[/name_f]
[name_f]Jemma[/name_f] ( Benjamin… [name_m]Jem[/name_m] …Jemma)

Benedikte’s sticking in my brain in a lovely way and I never would have thought of it. Thank you!
Also thanks to everyone suggesting [name_m]Gray[/name_m]. I absolutely love [name_m]Gray[/name_m] and Graycen/Grayson. Maybe [name_f]Benedikte[/name_f] [name_m]Gray[/name_m] should go on my short list?
I’m so glad you like [name_f]Benedikte[/name_f]! [name_f]Benedikte[/name_f] [name_m]Gray[/name_m] is really lovely.
