I agree with Heather and especially Roger, but Brian just looks too much like ‘brain’ to me. My favorite ‘dated’ name is Amber, though. I think she’s just so pretty!!

People don’t do this a lot so maybe take it with a grain of salt but I don’t like when people poll other people’s names/combos or criticize names that people have already used.
I don’t think names should be copyrighted and forbidden from use but to Love/Like/Hate a name from the Birth Announcements thread or to make negative comments about full names/sibsets in Name Sightings just seems inappropriate.

I strongly agree with this. Same goes for posts asking for opinions on specific combos that already belong to a human that isn’t either the OP or their own child. It just doesn’t feel good!
