How can I get the name Tedi into a girls name?

Ok, I love the name [name]Teddy[/name]/Tedi. Whether we had a boy or girl I wanted to use it. Im looking to have Tedi be her nickname, but I’m struggling to think of a way to use it. For example, [name]Lola[/name] [name]Theodora[/name] sounds not so good to me, is there any other girls names that I could get Tedi out of?

If your use the initials TD then it could work?

[name]Tera[/name] [name]Dionne[/name]
[name]Tera[/name] [name]Dianne[/name]
[name]Tera[/name] [name]Edith[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] with any of the previous names.

Since [name]Ted[/name] can be a nn for [name]Edward[/name] I don’t see why you can’t get Tedi from names like [name]Edith[/name], [name]Eden[/name], [name]Edna[/name], [name]Edwina[/name] or [name]Edison[/name] for something less feminine.

[name]Dorothea[/name] as opposed to [name]Theodora[/name] would also work–or just [name]Thea[/name], if you want. On the [name]Thea[/name] line, [name]Theda[/name] would be a plausible Tedi option as well.

I look at Tedi and think -ous.

[name]Just[/name] as a point of interest - I heard that the teenage girl character (played by [name]Bridget[/name] Mendler) on the new Disney show ‘Good [name]Luck[/name] [name]Charlie[/name]’ is named ‘[name]Teddy[/name]’. I am extremely curious as to what the character’s full name is. I am assuming ‘[name]Theodora[/name]’? Perhaps as more information becomes available, we might learn what the name is and you could possibly use it. ‘[name]Charlie[/name]’ is the nn for the baby on the show, her full name is ‘[name]Charlotte[/name]’. So I’m thinking that ‘[name]Teddy[/name]’ is also a nn for a vintage/classic name.

I hadn’t even thought of using [name]Eden[/name], thanks…I really like that. What do you think would work as a middle name?

With [name]Eden[/name] (sorry to butt in) i would pair it with something a little longer and classically feminine

[name]Eden[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]

[name]Teddy[/name] will be the name of my next boy (if it is a boy) I love it!

[name]Theadora[/name]

I absolutely love this name for a little girl. I think [name]Max[/name] ([name]Maxine[/name]) and [name]Jo[/name] ([name]Joanna[/name]) are equally adorable. Here are some suggestions I have. They have a feel of Tedi, and I don’t think it would be too much of a stretch for a nickname:

Temina
[name]Thadine[/name]
Thena
[name]Tristyn[/name] (somewhat masculine looking)
[name]Teresa[/name]/[name]Therese[/name] (my favorite out of the T’s, it’s classic and you easily get Tedi)
[name]Tuesday[/name] (maybe a little out there for your taste but I think it’s cute)

[name]Beatrix[/name]/[name]Beatrice[/name] (I think this one works well)
[name]Felicity[/name] (I really think this one works well too) (My fav)
[name]Antoinette[/name]
[name]Bernadette[/name]
[name]Etta[/name]
[name]Nanette[/name] (love it!)
[name]Patricia[/name]
[name]Natalia[/name]

My only other suggestion is to use a name that you can get Tedi out of as her middle name. I’ve known several people who have gone by their middle names. [name]Hope[/name] this list helps, and let us know what you decide! Best
