For me, I find myself avoiding Ad-, Ru-, and [name_f]Lu[/name_f]- names in the first spot as they’re too close to family members, but I have pondered -lu- names still?
[name_f][/name_f]I’d personally want to talk to my sibs/family members about it and get their thoughts [name_f][/name_f]- because I know that if a family member used Grace/Gracie/Gray/Grayson, I wouldn’t like it? And I get the feeling my brother wouldn’t like me using an [name_m]Ad[/name_m]- name either.
[name_f][/name_f]Howeve, I wouldn’t be bothered if they used [name_f][/name_f] an [name_f]Ell[/name_f]- name (from my middle) or even something like [name_m]Chase[/name_m], [name_m]Casey[/name_m], [name_m]Ace[/name_m], [name_m]Grant[/name_m], [name_m]Grady[/name_m]? [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]So[/name_f] maybe [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] with R’s name is fine?
[name_f][/name_f]However, I am aware that others LOVE the idea of sharing their name or something similar [name_f][/name_f]- that it feels special / feels like an honour 
[name_f][/name_f] which is why I’d check in first
