How did Nameberry itself come to be named?

Hi all
I have been wondering, how did Nameberry come to be called Nameberry? It definitely evokes imagery of users picking names like fruit from a tree. Was this the intention or does it come from somewhere or something totally different?

Ha! Naming a book or a website is no easier than naming a baby, even when you’re an expert! We actually spent months searching for names that were available as urls, had the right baby-friendly flavor – and that we could agree on! And then we sent the final dozen or so (there were HUNDREDS) out to all our friends and asked them to vote. Nameberry was the clear favorite with a range of different kinds of people. Thrilled you like it!

I would like to find that original list! I remember that Nameberry was in both [name_f]Linda[/name_f]’s and my top 5 but not Number 1 for either of us – I believe we had different Number 1s, because if we had agreed, that would have been the name! But our friends and family poll picked Nameberry as the winner hands down, which helped both of us embrace the name and quickly fall in love. If I can find the original list in the deep archives of my computer, I will share.
