[name_f]My[/name_f] middle name was after my grandma which I since changed to [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] as I don’t want to be associated with my grandparents as they are not nice people.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first name is of no real significance. They just really liked the name [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. I think this was more my mum’s choice as my dad wanted [name_f]Felicity[/name_f].
My dad loves video games and wanted to name me after his favourite character from Final Fantasy VI, Celes Chere. My mom liked the sound of the name so she was on board! My first middle name is after my dad’s mom (it’s a tradition on their side to pass names down like that), and my second middle name is just one my mom thought was pretty.
[name_f]My[/name_f] name story really begins with my older brother. [name_f]My[/name_f] parents were team green with him, and they had it narrowed down to 2 boy names when he was born a month premature. When the nurse asked if they had chosen a name yet, my dad decisively told her “Yes, his name is (my mother’s top choice)”. After the nurse left, my mom asked him why he had done that and he said “After seeing what you just went through, you can name our children whatever you want”.
So my mom chose my name on her own - she asked his opinion on some names but the decision was hers. [name_f]My[/name_f] first name she chose just because she liked it (as did many others - it’s one of the top 5 names for my birth year). For my middle name, she gave me her mother’s middle name.
I was born really quickly (almost the side of the road), so my aunt met my parents at the hospital to watch my brother (who was 15 months). After I was born, my dad came out to tell her “It’s a girl!”, to which she responded “Does she have a name?”. [name_f]My[/name_f] dad had no idea yet what my mom had picked so he had to go back and ask her.

[name_f]My[/name_f] first name is the feminine version of my dad’s name. [name_f]My[/name_f] middle name was my grandma’s middle name. 
[name_f]My[/name_f] mom really wanted a name that began with M (it’s a tradition on her side) so she let my dad go through baby name books and pick the ones he liked best, their top options were [name_f]Marissa[/name_f], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]. They ended up going with [name_f]Marissa[/name_f] because apparently I just looked like a [name_f]Marissa[/name_f] when I was born! [name_f]My[/name_f] middle name is a feminine spelling of my grandpa’s name.
