How do feel about this name?

I am really starting to like the name [name]Hadley[/name] nn Haddi for a little girl. My husband really likes the name [name]Harper[/name], which I also like, but don’t like that it doesn’t have a cute nickname. What are your feelings on these names? I would also live to hear some middle name suggestions for both names. I have and older daughter named [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and would love to stick with the floral/nature type of middle name.
Thank you so much for your help

I agree that [name]Hadley[/name] matches [name]Emerson[/name] well. For starters, I would use a simple, one-syllable middle name for [name]Hadley[/name] (if you were to use it) as well, to match [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. I prefer [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. I don’t really like the nickname Haddi, as it’s so similar to [name]Hadley[/name] that it doesn’t seem like a legit nickname. I can imagine her friends calling her that once in a while, but it doesn’t seem like a nickname you would use on a daily bases. I’ve met two girls named [name]Hadley[/name] so far, in just one neighborhood, so depending on where you live, it might be quite popular.

I like both [name]Hadley[/name] and [name]Harper[/name], [name]Hadley[/name] just a tad more because of the nn possibility (though [name]Harper[/name] probably matches with [name]Emerson[/name] a little better) some middle name ideas

[name]Hope[/name] this helps!

I love the name [name]Hadley[/name] with the nickname Haddie. I simply adore Haddie, and think [name]Hadley[/name] is a great way to get to it.
Plus, [name]Hadley[/name] and [name]Emerson[/name] make great names for sisters. Does [name]Emerson[/name] ever go by [name]Emma[/name] or [name]Emmy[/name] or something? [name]Just[/name] curious.

I think [name]Hadley[/name] [name]Violet[/name] would be very pretty if you want to stick to the floral middle name. Other nature middle names:
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Iris[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] (might be a little “L” heavy though)
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Sage[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Clover[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Robin[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Dawn[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]June[/name] (I think this is really pretty)
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Skye[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] [name]Olive[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] this helps, and good luck!

Yes, [name]Emerson[/name] does go by the nn [name]Emmie[/name], so I would like her sister to have a nn option too. I love all the middle names you have suggested! Thanks

I like [name]Harper[/name] opposed to [name]Hadley[/name]. [name]Even[/name] though [name]Harper[/name] doesn’t have a cute nickname you can give her a nickname according to personality, looks or the first weird name that comes up when you hold her.

[name]Hadley[/name]'s getting common, yes, but [name]Harper[/name]'s already more so.

Between these, I’d definitely pick [name]Hadley[/name].
