Well, I have posted on here a few times about my twin girls arriving in [name]June[/name]. And my hubby has veto’d everything. [name]Even[/name] names I thought were golden. He has even veto’d his favorite names ([name]Amelie[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name]). So, I kicked him in the shin and said I’m naming them what I want and I am done compromising when he hates everything. I’m taking over.
We have the middle names down, [name]Marianne[/name] and Meaghana. They are family names after our sisters. Our last name is of [name]East[/name] [name]Indian[/name] origin (but the hubby does not want [name]Indian[/name] names, go figure). It’s long, starts with a P and even has a hyphen. Because of this I want short and sweet.
I love [name]Evie[/name] as a nickname but am torn between [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Eve[/name]. And which middle to put with it. And don’t love [name]Evelyn[/name] or [name]Evangeline[/name].
I love [name]Lily[/name] [name]May[/name]/[name]Mae[/name] and the idea of calling her both names. But then how do you do that? Is [name]May[/name]/[name]Mae[/name] the middle or does it go with the first on the birth certificate?
Right now, I’m thinking its [name]Eve[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] [name]May[/name] Meaghana.
But poor [name]Eve[/name], does she need a second middle name to balance with her sister? [name]June[/name] is a family name for us…but two twinsie cheesy to have [name]May[/name] and [name]June[/name]?!? Ahhh!!
I would love to hear how the berries would but these modge podge names together.
[name]Even[/name] other ideas are welcome (but I swear it, he has veto’d everything.)
Thank you!!!
I think [name]May[/name] and [name]June[/name] are fine in the middle.
[name]Eve[/name] [name]June[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] [name]May[/name] Maeghana are two perfectly ok names. It would be different if you plan to name them [name]June[/name] [name]Eve[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] and [name]May[/name] [name]Lily[/name]… you get the picture.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Lily[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] and [name]Eve[/name] Meaghana? [name]Mae[/name] is a pretty standard nickname for [name]Mary[/name], so [name]Lily[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] could easily go by [name]Lily[/name]
[name]Mae[/name] and then you don’t need to worry about extra middles.
[name]Eva[/name] [name]June[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mae[/name] Meaghana works though, if you did want to go that route.
I love [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Lily[/name]. I don’t think it is weird to have one twin with a double barrel name. [name]Just[/name] look at [name]Mary[/name] [name]Kate[/name] and [name]Ashley[/name].
I think you could do [name]Eve[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] Meaghana and just call her [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mae[/name]. The way I pronounce [name]Meaghan[/name] and Meaghana is more like [name]Mae[/name]-gun/[name]Mae[/name]-gahn-uh so I don’t think it is a stretch to get [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mae[/name] out of that at all. [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mae[/name] Meaghana actually sounds a little silly and repetive to my ears. So I would just do [name]Eve[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] Meaghana!
Exactly this - [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is darling, but it does sound a bit silly repeating the same sound again - [name]Lily[/name] Meaghana could be [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mae[/name] as a nickname easily, I think. Good luck!
I love [name]Eve[/name] [name]Marianne[/name], but not so much [name]Lily[/name] [name]May[/name] Meaghana. I do like [name]Lily[/name], though.
I agree with this ^^^
I prefer [name]Eva[/name] with [name]Marianne[/name], over [name]Eve[/name]. My vote would be for [name]Eva[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] & [name]Lily[/name] Meaghana, nn [name]Evie[/name] & LilyMae.
I knew I was just on the cusp of figuring this out! I don’t know why I couldn’t see it, though! [name]Mae[/name] is kinda set in the middle names- I was just prego brain stalled! Hahaha thank you ladies!!!
