[name]Chloe[/name] was a top contender for us but it is super popular. I am actually starting to love [name]Zoe[/name] more and never hear it anywhere.
DS is named [name]Seth[/name] and our other faves are [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name]
I like [name]Zoe[/name]! I know it’s popular, but keep in mind that as naming gets more diverse, the acutal number of girls with the most popular names keeps going down. It’s not guaranteed that she’ll meet lots of other Zoes.
I like it too. My [name]MIL[/name] says [name]Zoe[/name] like [name]ZO[/name], not [name]ZO[/name]-EE. So weird. (She pronounces a lot of things weird.) So I couldn’t use it for that reason, haha.
[name]Zoe[/name] isn’t my style but I so see the appeal! It’s such a spunky, energetic name. If you love [name]Zoe[/name] I think you should use it. [name]Seth[/name] and [name]Zoe[/name] are cute together.
I just reread your post and see that your popularity concerns are about [name]Chloe[/name], not [name]Zoe[/name]. Sorry. fwiw, I like [name]Zoe[/name] better than [name]Chloe[/name]! It’s spunkier.
I’m not sure where you live but here in canada [name]Zoe[/name] is super popular! If there wasn’t a few different speelings it would be #1. [name]ZOE[/name], [name]ZOIE[/name], [name]ZOEY[/name], [name]ZOOEY[/name]. I would say that the [name]ZOE[/name] spelling is the most popular though.
I like the name but I actually prefer the [name]Zoey[/name] spelling. Best of luck!
I’m in [name]Alberta[/name] and have never heard it anywhere. [name]Chloe[/name]'s everywhere though!
What do you think of [name]Zo[/name]” where the pronunciation is more [name]ZO[/name]-e instead of zo-E?
[name]Zoe[/name] is my second favorite girls’ name ever. I love Greek baby names! =) The meaning is wonderful – “life” – and I just think the name [name]Zoe[/name] is full of energy, spunk, and strength. It has a contemporary feel, but it’s sophisticated enough to go well with middle names like [name]Anneliese[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name]. Plus, Z is such an awesome, underused letter!
I prefer the classic spelling ‘[name]Zoe[/name],’ though I do quite like the variations [name]Zooey[/name], [name]Zoie[/name], and [name]Zo[/name]” (but not [name]Zoey[/name] for some reason :p).
I am mom of a [name]Zoe[/name]! With two dots on the e. I always loved the name and after seven years I am still so happy having called her [name]Zoe[/name]. I think the name works for a child and an adult. My old neighbor had never heard this name before and I recently met her in a store with her daughter: [name]Zoe[/name].
Last year she was in the same class with another [name]Zoe[/name], but of five classes, they were the only [name]Zoe[/name]'s, so it wasn’t that bad. Her dad had called her [name]Zoe[/name] because her older sister had a name starting with an A, so he wanted to “end” with a Z.
I really like [name]Zoe[/name]. It has a lot of spunk. If my husband hadn’t vetoed it, it would be at the top of our list.
We just added [name]Zooey[/name] to our list. I heard the tv talking about [name]Zooey[/name] Deschanel and I said to my husband, I like [name]Zooey[/name]. He said me to. I said, how do you spell it? He said Z-o-o-e-y. I said me to. I said how about [name]Zooey[/name] [name]Brigid[/name] Blackwood. He said I like it. I said me too! My dad is a [name]Joe[/name] and my BFF is [name]Brigid[/name]. Might go with [name]Brigitte[/name] though for lil’ [name]Brigid[/name].
