So I work with a lot of Greek/Macedonian people at the bridal boutique, and one coworker has a niece named [name]Electra[/name].
I’ve heard her name a lot this week, and its really grown on me.
I also like the Italian variant, [name]Elettra[/name]. But [name]Electra[/name] stands out more.
I feel it fits nicely with [name]Alessandra[/name], [name]Alexia[/name], Victora, and [name]Katerina[/name] which are my top girls names. Not so sure how it fits with [name]Nathaniel[/name], my top boys name, though
Thoughts?
I think it’s a great name, though not one I personally plan to use. In my head I lump it with the names [name]Allegra[/name] and Metallica. NO idea why. As long as it doesn’t get shortened to the too-popular [name]Ellie[/name] or [name]Ella[/name], I like it!
My first thought is of [name]Carmen[/name] [name]Electra[/name]. I prefer the Italian variant you mentioned…[name]Elettra[/name]. I’ve never heard that before! 
I’m not a fan, if I’m honest. I have no idea why but it sounds really cheap to me.

I agree that it fits in perfectly with your top girl names and am also not so sure of how well it fits with [name]Nathaniel[/name], though I think it can work.
I prefer the Italian version [name]Elettra[/name].
I also prefer the [name]Elettra[/name] spelling. [name]Electra[/name] feels a bit well… like [name]Carmen[/name] [name]Electra[/name]. Not a good name association.
